@Christi45463861 @TalkTalk Did you resolve your issue? I’ve never tweeted but can’t see my issue being resolved in a conventional fashion. It’s crazy not being able to work from home when you’re told to work from home. Not much fun for kids being dragged into an office to download homework!

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@TalkTalk Connecting the antenna directly to the service and bypassing the set top box gives reception so it's not the set or the aerial.

@TalkTalk Log into your router via browser on 192.168.1.1 (default) and change your primary and secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google’s) public Domain Name Server. That should resolve this TalkTalk DNS issue and get you up and running!

Wow. Reported internet issues to @TalkTalk at 10am, had an @OpenreachHelp engineer turn up at 4pm to fix the problem. Same day!! Luke, my engineer, was a real delight and tried everything he could to help. 🤞 seems to be fixed now 🤞 you've saved me a lot of stress, thank you!

@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk That is very poor. Never been with them, but heard a few tales. Best way is to find new provider and they will migrate across. When I left Virgin I went back to BT 6 years ago now, was the best decision, but varies a lot depending on post code. Good luck!

@WebberForbes @TalkTalk they refuse to acknowledge the problem and try to make you believe it’s a problem with your line or box even though it’s not. I’d suggest changing providers, most of their customer service can’t understand English and just hang up on you when faced with any responsibility

Too long #talktalk Well after about 5 weeks of slow stop start internet and 2 Eng visits. Talktalk sent me a new router. Now I am not going to say problem fixed yet just shows that they can do the right thing if they try. My problem is how long it took. Testing on going.

@TalkTalk @nhtaylor44 But this doesn’t work as it’s not the email address that the account was set up with so no link to reset. So basically leaving 86 year old with no means of help as her pendant goes through the phone line as well. Any thoughts?

It’s funny how @TalkTalk refuses to acknowledge that the problem is on your side. I can guarantee there’s been a record number of customers cancelling their subscription and changing providers. You have the worst internet and customer service on the market. Congrats

@TalkTalk Sending cut off messages and hollow apologies does NOT make up for poor service. I know you are cheap but to not help your customers is a surefire way to lose them. Get what you pay for I suppose.

@SecurityNewsbot Since the Dido Harding disaster at TalkTalk, there is no excuse for any Telco to be holding customer data which is not encrypted, making breaches low risk. Sending out SIMs for IMSEI leaks is not always viable, as many SIMs are in robotic systems in difficult to reach places.

@TalkTalk are charging me £88.87 exit fee for... Internet that can't handle Netflix streaming or YouTube videos and a service that when down for an hour every Sunday at midnight, what a cracking company and treatment, good riddance.
