@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@Christi45463861 @TalkTalk Did you resolve your issue? I’ve never tweeted but can’t see my issue being resolved in a conventional fashion. It’s crazy not being able to work from home when you’re told to work from home. Not much fun for kids being dragged into an office to download homework!

@TalkTalk Log into your router via browser on 192.168.1.1 (default) and change your primary and secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google’s) public Domain Name Server. That should resolve this TalkTalk DNS issue and get you up and running!

@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk That is very poor. Never been with them, but heard a few tales. Best way is to find new provider and they will migrate across. When I left Virgin I went back to BT 6 years ago now, was the best decision, but varies a lot depending on post code. Good luck!

@TalkTalk Connecting the antenna directly to the service and bypassing the set top box gives reception so it's not the set or the aerial.

Wow. Reported internet issues to @TalkTalk at 10am, had an @OpenreachHelp engineer turn up at 4pm to fix the problem. Same day!! Luke, my engineer, was a real delight and tried everything he could to help. 🤞 seems to be fixed now 🤞 you've saved me a lot of stress, thank you!

@TalkTalk @thorpstaveley How about a pinned tweet TalkTalk ... stating you're aware of the problem and an engineer is trying to fix. Then provide regular hourly updates. All these links to your service centre provide nothing but frustration. You're in the communication industry, so please communicate!
-
Gary Horton
(@garyavfchorton) reported
@TalkTalk @concretebodies1 It's been down since 5:20am now Ram. Approaching 10 hours! When does something become urgent! You really need to be providing much more regular updates on the issue: What exactly is it? Is an engineer on site? Is there an estimated fix time? Any update you can give would help.

What's Up, People? Apologies for the full radio silence, I changed my Internet Supplier, and @YodelOnline managed to f*ck up my new @TalkTalk hub delivery #FeckingImports for delivery drivers! Promised another hub only for the customer service waller @TalkTalk to f*ck that up!

@TalkTalk Yes every single one, and it happens numerous times a week, sometimes a few times a day. I don't want platitudes or to call your number for the 50th time I want you to fix the fault you have known about for months

@concretebodies1 @TalkTalk Talk talk, you need to be communicating much better than this. People's lines in Bingley have been down for a long time, mine included and the communication from you is shocking!
-
Gary Horton
(@garyavfchorton) reported
@concretebodies1 @TalkTalk The link isn't great, because as you say, it looks like everything is working. If you click on network connection though, it does say there is an issue. I now see some local businesses in BD16 are having issues with taking payments through BT, and TalkTalk use same lines as BT.
-

@TalkTalk This is a guide to phone sockets - not really sure what this has to do with anything as it’s been established that there is an issue at the exchange?
-
Gary Horton
(@garyavfchorton) reported
@OpenreachHelp @thorpstaveley I confirm what Stephen says. I've also reported the BD16 issue to TalkTalk. A number of local businesses are also reporting they can't take online payments through BT. I understand that Openreach, BT and TalkTalk are all connected. The issue has now been ongoing over 10 hours.

@TalkTalk @pompeyhedge 2/3 days is completely unacceptable!!! So many people and businesses rely on this service! You should at least be offering compensation! @TalkTalk
-
Bekah

@TalkTalk @concretebodies1 Hopefully the problem in BD16 will be sorted by 10pm?!!!! If not, then it’s ridiculous. And people wonder why @TalkTalk have a bad reputation for their customer service!
