@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk That is very poor. Never been with them, but heard a few tales. Best way is to find new provider and they will migrate across. When I left Virgin I went back to BT 6 years ago now, was the best decision, but varies a lot depending on post code. Good luck!

Wow. Reported internet issues to @TalkTalk at 10am, had an @OpenreachHelp engineer turn up at 4pm to fix the problem. Same day!! Luke, my engineer, was a real delight and tried everything he could to help. 🤞 seems to be fixed now 🤞 you've saved me a lot of stress, thank you!

@TalkTalk Log into your router via browser on 192.168.1.1 (default) and change your primary and secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google’s) public Domain Name Server. That should resolve this TalkTalk DNS issue and get you up and running!

@TalkTalk Connecting the antenna directly to the service and bypassing the set top box gives reception so it's not the set or the aerial.

@TalkTalk I have waited more than a week for my Internet to be activated. Two BT engineers have come and says it works. It worked for two hours and now it says connected without Internet. Your service is very shoddy and I will take this up with ombudsman?

@CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

@OpenreachHelp In Hanwell, W7 we lost phone line and broadband in the morning. Very quick restoration about midday phone mid afternoon broadband. However our speed was 52 Mbit before the loss of service now capped at 40 Mbit. TalkTalk wont acknowledge because above min sold speed

@rechenberger34 @TalkTalk Cut your losses or get a solicitor involved TalkTalk are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Especially if you want them to get Open Reach out. I spent 16 hrs on the phone to them. In the end I got a num for an engineering manager at Open Reach & worked backward

@TalkTalk awful service. Parents had appointment for 7am, no show. Text to say they would be there by 9. No show. Phoned and told they had been stood down but engineer did not start til 8 anyway. Why no info about stand down? Why book a slot when engineer does not work?

@TalkTalk your level of customer service is appalling,from being halfway through a conversation with operator to them transferring the call to another, then cutting the call completely. Finally speak to another for them to say I’ll receive a confirmation email which hasn’t come

Appalling service from @TalkTalk on our move so far. Sent engineer to wrong address & now, after over an hour on the phone, they're listening to the initial 30 min call where the appointment was made to check we know where we live. Apparently if we do we'll have 'more options' 😡
