@TalkTalk I have waited more than a week for my Internet to be activated. Two BT engineers have come and says it works. It worked for two hours and now it says connected without Internet. Your service is very shoddy and I will take this up with ombudsman?

Remote support for a friend’s computer that was having strange issues. Teamviewer failed to connect so I figured this was related. An hour’s debugging later and it turns out the ISP (TalkTalk) is blocking Teamviewer as it’s used by scammers.

@TalkTalk It would be nice if you could reduce or remove a £40 charge for an engineer who called but made no inspection of equipment, explained that Freeview channels had been altered; a fact that your customer services were not aware of, but should have known.

7. I call back @TalkTalk immediately and try to get them to realise they have made a series of compounded mistakes since re-booking my home move when I called to complain about the terms. The guy in Burnley is receptive and passes me onto tech support. The hold goes on ages.

And the award for the quickest failure in connectivity goes to @TalkTalk internet is down after about a week of being with them… customer service said they’d send a new router which could arrive in 5 days. They also said “we will see what we can do about a partial refund” 😡

I’ve had no internet for the past 4 days I was told it would be back on in a maximum of 72 hours. Now I’m being told it’s going to take a further 3 days to investigate this? @TalkTalk do you really think this is okay? I will never use talk talk services ever again.

@YardleyShooting @TalkTalk Was in a fight with them over so-called unpaid bills - I didn't owe a penny. Over a year of horrid stress culminated in them dropping their charge the day before court. I hate them.

2. Called @TalkTalk to complain and was able to negotiate a slight monthly discount and a reduction to 18 months on the contract. Not ideal, but hey ho, a new contract means a new 30-day free cancellation period if the service is bad. All agreed and booked into the system again.
