Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Kerrie (@WF2K_) reported@TalkTalk I know because I've been told exactly that by your team and I never said I was frustrated? So I'm not sure why you assumed that.
-
Ruth Lampard (@ruth_lampard) reported@TalkTalk I said I want to speak to a customer service agent. That apparently was the key phrase that took me to a person. The Chat could have told me that. It didn’t. I’m have concluded the @TalkTalk chat is a poorly programmed AI designed to frustrate engagement with customers.
-

G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

ElaineGolding (@Elainebks) reported@Go4gold100 @TalkTalk Beware of any replies purporting to be their customer services on here
-
@devonboy3410 🏴🏴 (@devonboy3410) reported@GBNEWS Because BT is overpriced, I'm with a small company that uses the TalkTalk network if I need to speak to them, I'm connected to an advisor within a minute.

Channelnotinuse (@channelnotinuse) reported@RichardCurry7 @rockchic666 @TalkTalk taken me about 2 yrs to get them to own up to mistakes including issues with connections glad I switched to BT & they will not & never get another payment from me again
-
Ian Liles (@tempjust_Liles) reported@devilscustard @TalkTalk Another case of the big boys not giving a tuppeny for the customer. Gimme the money is all they care about. DHL have been sending me the same bill every month for 3 years. I paid it 3 years ago and sent screenshots of the bank payment. It’s harassment but they don’t give a Fck.
