Hannah Greenwood (@HannahGreenish) reported from Birmingham, England@iraa_pappa @TalkTalk Same for us. 42 in queue, going down to 36 in queue over 45 mins. Unfortunately we don’t have the luxury of blocking the phone line for the whole day. Why isn’t there an option to cancel online, #TalkTalk? Is this the only way you are holding onto customers? We want to leave!
-

Mik (@mikbarton) reported from Birmingham, England@TalkTalk Hi. It looks like you've disabled my elderly aunt's email. She's really worried, but can't contact you without email and the customer services phone number can't respond either. How can I contact someone?
-
Debbie Murphy (@missfitcreates) reported from Tamworth District, EnglandI've discovered that if you're not with Virgin for broadband you have Openreach, they service all others from Sky to EE, TalkTalk to BT. Also, Openreach outsource work so beware dodgy contractors!
-

Lord Pĥtẹvë Rəndom of Stoughəm Həll 🇺🇦🇺🇦🌈 (@PodmanG) reportedAnyone else having problems with #TalkTalk keeping dropping internet? Been happening for a few days, but worse than ever today.. 🥺🤬
-
Susan 💜🤍💚 (@HoneybourneFarm) reported@theospreyuk @Shiv_who_burns It's such a pain! Finally managed to speak to an "expert" at Talktalk. They said only way is to cancel current broadband only contract, and give me a new broadband only contract, which sounds wrong. At this rate I shall probably cancel both landline and broadband and use mobile!
-
beth a (@loisgriff_) reported@HylianBeanie_97 Awe, BT has always been a disaster. I have TalkTalk been with them for yonks, and rarely do I have problems with them, and they are super cheap even with super fast fibre. Yeah exactly haha!! I can’t play rd2 I am terrible at it I killed my horse by accident I haven’t been back
-
MorgothTheRabbit (@proco007) reported@PaulUtd16 @TalkTalk There's a reason why I binned them off years ago. Simply awful company. I hope @TalkTalk do the right thing. For a change.

G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

George W (@Allez_oops) reported…of course, you and I know that all international numbers are prefixed with 00 - basic info that has been common knowledge for years. If you have setup a premium rate bar on your home telephone - be aware that if you are a TalkTalk customer, this security measure is redundant.
-
Angela (@angelajazz2) reported@TalkTalk They tell me they are too busy & it will be a long time before they can get to me! Told me to check online to track a fault. Nothing has been updated and it has been logged so many times. I tried phoning & they just pass you to the website. What is going on? Abysmal service!
-
Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?
-
Channelnotinuse (@channelnotinuse) reported@RichardCurry7 @rockchic666 @TalkTalk taken me about 2 yrs to get them to own up to mistakes including issues with connections glad I switched to BT & they will not & never get another payment from me again

Lucas 😏 (@itsmelucasdt) reported@TalkTalk Hi, I live in a building that constantly has issues with its broadband provider. We’re talking about at least 150 flats and around 400 people that are willing to change their provider. How can I, a talktalk customer, can refer a whole building of flats to move to talktalk?
