Esther Parkinson (@e_therp) reported from Saint Annes on the Sea, England@ukaudiophile @TalkTalk @zeninternet I would really welcome local support. I'm so tired of protracted phonecalls to overseas call centres and struggling to understand staff. Phonecalls I make take a minimum of 45 minutes each time and I am losing the will to live.
-
Esther Parkinson (@e_therp) reported from Preston, England@ukaudiophile @TalkTalk @zeninternet Oh interesting-thank you. I've not heard of Zeininternet. I will look into this. I'm seriously thinking of switching as the problems with TalkTalk are wracking up and it's wearisome trying to get them to resolve them.

-
Sue White (@SueWhite2014) reportedThank you to Sibonelo, the TalkTalk representative who finally resolved my issue after more fruitless phone calls. He was more than helpful and efficient. Thank you.
-
MorgothTheRabbit (@proco007) reported@PaulUtd16 @TalkTalk There's a reason why I binned them off years ago. Simply awful company. I hope @TalkTalk do the right thing. For a change.
-
Dave O (@llqdave) reported@flatherings @TalkTalk The company is collapsing. They are flogging off parts as quickly as they can find bigger fools to buy them. Their support is useless, because they don't actually read the complaint, they just read whatever notes their colleagues make.
-
Deano (@mezza_68) reported@TalkTalk You must have the worst customer service of ANY company we have ever dealt with. 3 attempts to get a new router, got through security each time. Complaints team call - surprise surprise, the security details don’t match. Call me cynical but it’s a quick way to resolve!
-
Langho Rovers (@langhorovers) reported@VodafoneUK phenomenal broadband experience, WiFi cutting out every day. Had talktalk previously never had this issue. Vodafone broadband is the absolute worst. Avoid. Constant chats to "fix" issues. Promised call backs - repeated failure after failure. OFCOM complaint incoming.
-
G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.
