@TalkTalk Poor customer service. I have had an engineer come, no router delivered so he gave me one, once it was installed it didn’t work.I get through on your phone line after 30 minutes on hold and the line is so bad your operator can’t hear me. I rang back same issue. Help!

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@TalkTalk No, no problems. The connection seems very fast, both for upload and download speeds, but every evening we get the same warning that our bandwidth is too big enough when on Amazon Prime. So we try many times and eventually we can play a video.

I feel like an idiot.. I thought i have been paying £27.50 per month for my @TalkTalk but turns out its £38 . Thats alot just for broadband. Might need to rethink and might have to change company.

  • HudsonMfc
¯\(ツ)/¯Its©laЯe™ (@HudsonMfc) reported from Peacehaven, England

@TalkTalk I have no idea how to check as a complete technophobe but it is always freezing I turn wifi off on my phone and use 4g most of the time. Also staff are useless whenever I have an issue. Moving soon will not be taking your services with me !!

  • jsmithjason1972
Jason Smith (@jsmithjason1972) reported from Worthing, England

@TalkTalk Over a week without a landline/broadband connection now. You sent a second engineer today and it's STILL not working

  • zaakandtweet
ZaakAndrews (@zaakandtweet) reported from Upper Beeding, England

Why is every broadband service provider in the UK impossible to have a straightforward onboarding process? I have used BT & Sky on several occasions, now I’ve chosen @TalkTalk and I’m getting absolutely nowhere. Livid.

  • clouddancefest
Cloud Dance Festival (@clouddancefest) reported from Brighton, England

@peterwalker99 Problem is, many companies’ service is so bad (BT, @phonecoop, @TalkTalk etc) that “free broadband” is likely to be as bad as, if not worse than dialup. Bring on the smoke signals…

  • zaakandtweet
ZaakAndrews (@zaakandtweet) reported from Upper Beeding, England

They are all the same. ‘Sign up online, we can go live remotely on XX date with no engineer needed.’ XX date comes. Surprise, surprise. There’s an issue and an engineer needs to come. STOP LYING TO US. @TalkTalk

  • lisa01403
Lisa Bailey (@lisa01403) reported from Horsham, England

@TalkTalk Had enough now! £27 is far too much for "Broadband only" especially when you get a rubbish service! Just cannot afford getting a crap service anymore. Just because it's broadband only does not mean i'm not entitled to a decent service! I had to buy extra 4G data last

  • VictorOlliver
Victor Olliver (@VictorOlliver) reported from Sompting, England

No broadband as of last night @TalkTalk. Apparently problems since December.

  • greek_steve
Steve (@greek_steve) reported from Sompting, England

@TalkTalk it says on the internet that your customer services is open 365 days a year. Having called today I’m told that you are closed today?? I’d like to talk to a human being to sort out my mums account. How and when can I do that?

  • VictorOlliver
Victor Olliver (@VictorOlliver) reported from Sompting, England

If @TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup cannot maintain its broadband service I am off @WhichUK. Pathetic service, low upload and download speeds. The south coast service is abysmal and random.

@FirstSquawk TalkTalk headlines are a classic deal-premium trap — retail sees a spike and forgets the network arm is being carved out. Market makers will pin price while algos front-run the headline, but the real bid only shows once Octopus puts terms on paper. If those talks collapse, the gap down burns every late buyer — and that's exactly when the smart money quietly steps in.

    Volodymyr Pavlenko (@mindinpanic) reported

@business TalkTalk offloading wholesale to Telecel is the sensible move, the consumer side has been dragging them down

Real world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

@TalkTalk Hi, I live in a building that constantly has issues with its broadband provider. We’re talking about at least 150 flats and around 400 people that are willing to change their provider. How can I, a talktalk customer, can refer a whole building of flats to move to talktalk?

  • DanixThe3rd

  • fab_flamingoo
    FabFlamingoTuitionCo (@fab_flamingoo) reported

Spent 2 hrs 20 mins trying to resolve an issue with @TalkTalk. Received a router that was clearly faulty, damaged and previously used. Trying to charge me. Multiple transfers btw teams, full diagnostics completed, photos provided, still no resolution. @TalkTalk

  • llqdave
    Dave O (@llqdave) reported

For the second month running, @Talktalk have tried closing a complaint ticket by pretending not to have received a reply. The quality of @TalkTalkGroup's (presumably outsourced) African support centre is appalling. #TalkTalk should be avoided.

  • WF2K_
    Kerrie (@WF2K_) reported

@llqdave @TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup They did that to me as well until I sent them a blunt response. And no, talking to customer service on here doesn't help much at all. They have less access than those on webchat and email etc.
