Also staff are useless whenever I have an issue. Moving soon will not be taking your services with me !!

The connection seems very fast, both for upload and download speeds, but every evening we get the same warning that our bandwidth is too big enough when on Amazon Prime. So we try many times and eventually we can play a video.

I have had an engineer come, no router delivered so he gave me one, once it was installed it didn’t work.I get through on your phone line after 30 minutes on hold and the line is so bad your operator can’t hear me. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?
