@TalkTalk Internet down in Stoke on Trent. Turned on reset etc but still not able to access Internet. Says either connected no Internet or unable to connect. Is this a known problem? Any advice please?

@Plusnet has to be the worst broadband provider I have ever been with, and I was with @TalkTalk. Only get a WiFi signal in the same room as the router. I must say the are not doing me proud.

@TalkTalk internet Bern dropping out for 3 days now in st3 postcode. I know it's not just me as people I know having same issues. What's going on as I cannot work and losing money.

@TalkTalk If that were the case she would have been connected by now. I was encouraged to open a new account assured that she would be reconnected immediately. That never happened!

@TalkTalk shocking service from your company. My mum is vulnerable & hasn’t had working b’band since March 25th but can’t speak 2 anyone 2 sort it as your phone lines don’t answer. Also started a conversation here last week through DM. Was speaking to Jo & then he/she just left!

@TalkTalk My mum is one of the 1.5m high risk people who need to self isolate for 12 weeks. She hasn’t had broadband since the 25th March. Your customer care lines are closed & she can’t remember the details to get on to online account.

Had some of the worst service from @ScottishPower in recent days. Changeover from @TalkTalk now into day 3, and still no broadband. Not good enough. As a result, we are very far behind in our work. Completely unacceptable levels of service.

@TalkTalk It’s super slow, can’t watch anything on Netflix etc because it’s so pixelated and keeps buffering, have to use our phone data at home. We’ve restarted it so many times but it’s still happening

@TalkTalk Perhaps encourage your call centre staff to a) listen, b) attempt to be empathetic when dealing with a 90 year old customer who isn’t IT savvy, c) not patronise the son who is trying to help her. I’d be more than happy to speak to someone or put something in writing.

@TalkTalk very disappointing #customerservice. trying to sort issues with service since Dec, many hours on phone/online chat. Returned router for refund, provided proof of posting, Royal Mail website confirms delivered & you’re still saying no refund because not received #fedup

Yo, @tchalenko dealin' wid a vexin' situation, mon! Him move house in August 2023 an' try transfer him TalkTalk broadband, but dem couldn't hook up service at di new spot. Still, dem keep chargin' him, even after promisin' to cancel di contract an' waive fees. TalkTalk also claim dem never get di router him send back, an' dem want £50 more. Luke vex bad, gettin' threatenin' letters 'bout him credit score an' even t'inkin' 'bout court. Seems like TalkTalk got a history of billin' mix-ups, like a big fine in 2011 for overchargin'. Luke could try CISAS, a free service to sort out disputes, if TalkTalk don't fix t'ings. It’s a rough one, mon, but dem options deh fi him!

Absolutely no surprise. Ofcom releases latest stats for broadband complaints it received between October & December 2022. 1. Shell Energy 2. Vodafone 3. TalkTalk 4. Virgin Media. Not only are Vodafone useless they also deliberately ignore an are greedy for customer’s money

If I’ve got standard broadband with @TalkTalk and they are not providing a useable service despite acknowledging I’m overpaying why would It be any better if I locked myself in to a long-term contract with them.

@Ofcom if @TalkTalk can’t provide a decent service can I expect a decent service from another provider using the same copper lines. Logically I think not so I’m hesitant to lock myself in with anyone

@Ofcom i’ve been with @TalkTalk for about 20 years are they not obligated to provide me with a broadband service that works without me having to pay for an engineer to look at it or lock myself in to an even more expensive deal

@Ofcom @TalkTalk say they will send an engineer but I will have to pay £75 if they can’t find the problem. They’ve sent an engineer before who hasn’t been able to find a problem. He said I needed to sign up to fibre
