@AidyDews @ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia That’s exactly what happened to me. Upgraded to 500mg and the speed/coverage got worse. They ended up giving me 1 Gig for the price of 500mg & a hub4 because they couldn’t fix it. Took me about 10 hours & years off my life to sort out. Nightmare.

@virginmedia ok I have rebooted my broadband, checked my connectivity via an app, a bot & a recorded voice. I teach online & have had to cancel 3 clients & managed more advanced learners online. My devices are won’t reconnect. I have clients booked for the morning too. #help

@SkyHelpTeam We haven’t been booked in. Following some quick and informative enquiries, @virginmedia can install a new service in 3days; yet, a @SkyUK engineer can’t come out to us for over a week? When we pay a monthly small fortune, this all feels like terrible customer service

Geeky thing I've just noticed with our new FTTP connection from Sky (supplied & fitted by Openreach) we now have a IPv6 IP address! Never had one before as VirginMedia do not natively have one nor offer one!

@virginmedia Yep shows outrage and estimated fix time which varies then text and email to say fixed but still nothing had 15 messages to say fixed one a few seconds ago but it's not and still showing outrage on the app hard to check this when no services very disappointed with the service

@DavidWa98974961 Kind of haha I think it's a problem with the virgin box tbh as all other devices come up ok. Like I say I've swapped the leads from the other devices which work, used those leads from the Virgin box and still the same. I've got Virgin media coming out on Friday to look at the box

@virginmedia Status page says broadband is OK, but it's not. Checked all connections and they are all OK. Turned hub 4 of for 10 min and back on and it's still not working.
