Darren Leigh Arkless (@edginggodout) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@_simonlambert @GECFrost you said it about virgin media. Maybe it’s just me (King in waiting) but when I speak to customer services a “firm” stooge e.g nice but dim wills intercepts the calls to attempt to mentally turn me over. They are sinister AF. Now I’m locked out of iPlayer
-
Iain Hill (@hilly_1986) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia Say no known issues. Wired is fine but WiFi all over the house is shocking! Tried moving the hub but can only go so far as it’s restricted by the wires.

John Brunton (@panicdragon8779) reported from South Shields, England

@MrChrisWynn @Simon21ne @virginmedia @nowtvhelp @SkyHelpTeam I managed one week before cancelling! Sky says I have so many devices that it’s slowing the hub down, in 2019 that’s piss poor

Brian Reid (@brtoon) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia @honestlyhelen I've had similar feelings, my bill has rocketed by £11 per month over the last few months for my TV only service as Virgin only offer discounts now for multi package deals, loyalty no longer rewarded it seems 🤔

lynzi owens (@1lynzi1) reported from South Shields, England

-
Real Gaz of Trumpton #fbpe (@gazza_d) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia It would help if you read the thread and the attached screenshot. I did email with specific requests under gdpr. That was forwarded within VM and I got a generic dismissive reply which didn't even acknowledge the queries. Further eroding trust in VM

Jonathon Ward (@Wardixo) reported from South Shields, England
Shoutout to @vmbusiness who after 5 days told me to reset my router and have now told me they will simply continue to monitor the problem. No stream until NationWars now where we pray it’s going to be better.

Anyone else on @virginmedia getting “To Be Announced” on virtually every channel. Tried rebooting, switching on and off. Strikes me that VM has gone to shit recently. Loads of channels have gone, close to sacking it off.
-
Hot Acid Rhythms (@trisgallagher) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia Every single day for the last week my router just turns itself off and starts to update or drops out completely. Paying a lot of money for this service and it just isn’t good enough.

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jay (@jsquires1990) reported
@virginmedia You also say it’s capable of handling M200, I don’t have an issue with the handling of the speed in modem mode it’s a dream but as a router it can’t handle 20+ devices that connect at random times, that is the issue with the hub. They wouldn’t even entertain pods!
-
nathan davis (@withnail69) reported
@virginmedia Yes it says there is issues in my area
-
Billion Dollar Brain (@harryhpalmer) reported
@virginmedia yes, you have to now sign in to MyVM. That wasnt the case before. So not obvious where to go. Not in the sitemap. no re-direct for anyone who has bookmarked the old page. Poorly executed changes.
-

@virginmedia No they asked for my email so they could send a complaint form across. Not received anything.
-
McCall (@mccall_1989) reported
@virginmedia There has been no refund. There has been no calls back from managers which were promised. I was assured my deal of £61.25pm would be bettered that hasn’t happened. I tried to lodge a complaint, that hadn’t happened. I’ve had no calls back since. And have now paid £136 for 1 month
-
Matt Richards (@mattrichards100) reported
@virginmedia Nope, definitely not working. Tried rebooting twice, arrows on router flashing white. No internet.

@virginmedia is there a way for me to find out if my phone number has been leaked or involved in any form of data breach as I've been getting daily phone calls from people pretending to be you? Never anyone else so just intrigued.
