Dear @virginmedia, why is your WiFi so bloody awful? Another day of resetting, rebooting etc etc and it's still **** 😩
-
me (@shenry1972) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia I suggest you feed this back to Customer Service as I very much doubt I'm the first customer who's been misinformed on this. The engineer was supposed to be calling about my ongoing intermittent service issues, with both TV and internet.
-
Sam (@purplelime) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia hi are you having problems in NE34? Our TV has been down since around 10.45am with error code V53. Can’t check service status online as your site appears to be unavailable.

JoshSlesser (@Slesss_) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia these past few weeks my wifi signal has been absolute dog, I used to be able to get good signal all around the house, now barely get goof signal in my kitchen no more than 10m away from the hub, my TV which is about 2m away only gets 30mbps when my package is 200??

LKP - DJ / Vocalist (PSiMiTAR) (@DJLKP) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia Still down now, can work from Catch Up or my recordings, but nothing live as there are no channels. Drop outs in WiFi too. Not great.

Nigel Auchterlounie (@spleenal) reported from Whitley Bay, England

JoshSlesser (@Slesss_) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia @O2 your volt supercharge is a con! Why has my virgin media bill doubled and I’m being charged for making changes to my bill, none of this was mentioned to me this is a breach of contract im not paying almost £100 just cancel my package if that’s the case
-
LKP - DJ / Vocalist (PSiMiTAR) (@DJLKP) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia All on screen instructions followed, waited til I finished work today to check and it still doesn't get past 25% on the "searching for channels" page... Just taken the direct debit for a service which has been broken since 2.12.21...
-
LKP - DJ / Vocalist (PSiMiTAR) (@DJLKP) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia 17 days with no TV service, finally resumed today after another manual restarts at this end. Any chance of a refund of half of this month? That's pretty dire.

Neil Todd (@Neil_Rivelino) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia my V6 boxes have stopped communicating with each other (in reality downstairs is talking to upstairs but not vice-verse). Anyone who can help?
-
me (@shenry1972) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia According to your Customer Service I was informed I was to get a phone call by 5pm on Wednesday. When I rang back on Thursday to complete my order for a replacement box (after being offered a V6 but would have to pay installation) I was told no later than 5pm Friday.
-
me (@shenry1972) reported from Whitley Bay, England
Why is @virginmedia customer service so unrelentingly bloody awful?? Still no call from an engineer, told replacement TiVo box would come by post for it to come out by courier and get notified of this 20 minutes after the delivery window has started and I was at work 😡
-
Malcolm Sinyard (@Mal_Area) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia service down NE26 PANTS
-
me (@shenry1972) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia Okay so why was I told it would be coming by post in 5 working days and why have I still not had a call from an engineer? Kind of my main issues and you can't blame Yodel for them!!
-
JoshSlesser (@Slesss_) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia After speaking to yet another member who stated they couldn’t do anything about it, I said I was going to cancel so I was transferred. The guy I spoke to was for once someone I could understand, he was able to sort my issue out in 10 minutes after being on the phone for 1 hour
-
LKP - DJ / Vocalist (PSiMiTAR) (@DJLKP) reported from Whitley Bay, England
@virginmedia Can I win a TV service that works (Thursday 2nd Dec it's been off since) , or internet with no huge drop outs please? Or a link that works to fix anything. #AllIWantForChristmasistheserviceipayfor

Well since complaining on here about @virginmedia and their terrible phone calls last week I’ve had 5 calls in the last three days all trying to sell me the same upgrade. Absolutely this close (fingers mms apart) from cancelling with them completely. FFS sort it out!

@virginmedia My problem is your txt service and response for this issue has been so poor I want to cancel my service. It’s simply not how you treat people. Completely unacceptable
-
Kevin Gannon (@kgannon1) reported
@virginmedia No the second engineer seemed to solve it but it started happening again. It was to do with network setting and connection cables. But we’ve now had intermittent WiFi for 7 days and no compensation for earlier loss of service
-
Henry McLean-Low (@HenryMcleanLow) reported
@virginmedia Getting very fed up of your intermittent service! Another morning of having to tether to my phone as the internet is unusable. Any ETA on fix?!
-
Queer Beholder 🏳️🌈 (@Mecha_Rontharo) reported

@virginmedia Not sure I’m in Irvine, Scotland? Can you see if there’s issues?
-
Chris Roach (@Chrisroach) reported
@ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia I moved back to Formby when we knew we were having our first child, the house we moved to wasn’t covered by their network. Although that wasn’t my fault they still charged us £400 for leaving the contract early.
-
ETID (@AncelottiArmy) reported
@virginmedia £190 is out of order though and a lot of money. You should just have a set amount like £99 would be more better especially after this year with a lot of people been furlough etc. I won’t be coming back and my parents our also leaving virgin when contract is up. So 2 customer lost
-
Jimb2 (@jimb2_) reported
@virginmedia I will monitor, I have provided you with a tech number and complaint number for the cable issue can you look into why I am still waiting: Tech ID 107332_3710 Complaint ID COM1044332345 I've spent far too much time dealing with Virgin on this -

Matt Dickinson (@mattd1981) reported
@virginmedia appalling service. Have logged complaint to be told it can take up to 8 WEEKS to look at!!!! Really really not good enough. TV, broadband, landline and mobile customer and looks like time to move elsewhere. Such a shame @richardbranson

Greg Anderson (@GregAnd12668397) reported
@ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia The worst thing is the stress it causes older people. My mum gets really upset by this sort of thing. Older generation don't do email and automated telephone calls
