    @gotthegistofit @virginmedia Same, just spent a frustrating hour on their "customer service" line because about £40 of calls are on my father-in-law's bill which weren't made. Still not resolved and an engineer has to come our first (which they wanted to charge for!)

    @virginmedia Continual issues with the credit agreement email not arriving (and yes I checked junk!) It took a webchat and 3 calls to get anywhere near resolving this. Had my dad in his 70s in tears at the stress. I do have to say after almost 2hrs on the phone today we finally 1/

    @virginmedia This appears to be a known issue on your forums (phantom calls) but we refuse to be charged for the visit. Also waiting for a WhatsApp for over an hour because the direct debit still has his late wife's name on account after 7+ years, & we can't change it online (same acc no.).

    @virginmedia Dont wanna air my business over a feed. Asvised phone we got was outa stock. Faulty phone . Was gonna exchange bit out of stock.i had to cancel contract then take a new one out. But send phone back but wife hasnt a spare???

    Ye gods, @virginmedia customer service is beyond terrible. An hour trying to resolve a "phantom calls" issue last night which now needs an engineer visit, and spotted that a direct debit is in an incorrect name but this can't be changed via WhatsApp chat and needs *another* call.

    @_MMaritima @virginmedia Wired speed test would be to isolate between a wireless problem or the connection in. Router might be shielded which would kill signal. Make sure other electronics aren't too close. I can ruin my wireless if I put router on top of my TiVo box

    @_MMaritima @virginmedia I'd say that needs an engineer visit then at least. Probably either a bad connection or a flakey modem. Phone and log it every time it goes off.

    @virginmedia my elderly mother has been trying to contact you for over 3 weeks now to cancel her sub as it has gone up £60 pm. She has been out on hold numerous times and cut off no help on chat etc. her only option now is to cancel the DD as she can’t afford this anymore… help

    @virginmedia @VMHelpDesk Internet connection is intermittent in NE34, has been since at least Saturday. Connection drops at random. Have just restarted router again as I'm working from home & need to be online, no idea how long this will last. Not the only one having issues.

    @virginmedia Nothing reported when I checked before tweeting. Seems to have stabilised for now but must've dropped 15-20 times in the last 48h. No faults were reported on the site when my father-in-law had a complete loss of service a couple of months ago, but it was reported on the helpline.

    @workidabbz @virginmedia It is normal to receive company messages from mobile numbers. The name that is displayed depends on how your mobile and service provider tracks and name numbers. You should call them up regarding to check which number they have as primary, could be error when registrating.

    @virginmedia Yes there are ...again! I am fed up of the poor service. A workman cut thru the cable as it was not sheathed or buried deep enough. Engineer fixed it and said we won't get charged but we did! Reception is crap..meant to be fastest. Fed up. Can never get thru on phone to cust serv

    @virginmedia Lst year we were told contract would be 2 years (untrue) and that we didn't need a TV license to watch your TV (also untrue). I've never called virgin and not been hung up on or disconnected. I've never been able to have a problem solved through your text service.

    @virginmedia can anyone help me? Moved house and no broadband after several weeks of paying for it. No answer on phones, chat useless, faqs useless, no answer to complaints. Either needs an engineer out or might be as simple as it’s not been activated!?
