@virginmedia My wife rang (as account in her name) eventually got through, and an engineer is expected in next few hours as I connection at all now!!Poor/no mobile signal at home as booster box is connected to your router, so even more inconvenience right now.

@virginmedia 200 down from what I can remember, I'm at work right now so I can't check but the speed isn't the issue. Also, I said "should" because based on his test, it's an above average connection, but in practice, it's wildly inconsistent in terms of ping, packet loss/timing.

@virginmedia I have had: -An upgrade -An engineer come and change the box outside my house -A brand new hub -New power line adapters -My connection tested on your end numerous times And yet the connection, 99 times out of 100, feels like total shit whenever I use anything intensive.

@virginmedia would it be too much trouble for someone to fix my landline issue, I can't receive incoming calls, yet your call centre agents tell me there going to ring me back on my home line and then cut me off!!! Can't ring me back if I can't receive incoming calls!!!!!

@virginmedia We had a box fitted yesterday and the signal just isn’t working, it drops ever other minute or so and we can only get service in the room where the box is

Spend hours waiting for someone to answer @virginmedia then they just tell me ‘wait till tomorrow and it will work’. And it never does, cancellation never sounded so appealing

@virginmedia No, I've gone down this route before, just look in to your routing servers and or the bandwidth limit. Any time I do anything remotely intensive all packets start getting dropped. I'm on my knees.

@virginmedia Again, I appreciate what you're saying, but similarly I've had an engineer to my house and he said that within the parameters of his test, that my connection should be better than average. This is an issue with how my connection is being routed.

@virginmedia I was advised that I need to speak to a different department, by what feels like every department in Virgin Media! Whoever dealt with the house to house transfer has made an error.. and has somehow cancelled my service. But no department is taking responsibility to fix

@MissVioletWolf Actually been having a similar issue with Virgin Media, every now and then my connection will just cut out for a few minutes and after 4 calls they still claim theres nothing wrong. so damn annoying.

I've been online for nearly an hour with a @virginmedia agent to cancel my service. No progress. No wonder they've earned such a bad rep in Customer Service. It shouldn't be so difficult to cancel. I wonder if there's a manager?

@virginmedia Thank you for your reply. Now back up. There was apparently a service issue in my area. The second time now within past 6 mths. My O2 4g data speed is generally disappointing I have to say within Bristol but I guess that’s not your department.

@virginmedia The complaint is regards to our change of package, for which we were given different info everytime we spoke to someone. Confirmation emails didn't match what we were told on the phone. We had to make multiple calls, and web chat, and still the issue was not resolved correctly.
