Groupthink Blogs (@GroupthinkBlogs) reported@simonlevans @virginmedia They even admitted they did so. I remember trying to cancel my mum's contract 10 years ago, took me 2 hours. Most people would have given up.
-
Chris Oldershaw (@OldershawC66563) reported@premnsikka I. Found it impossible to cancel my account with Virginmedia by telephone - so sent a signed for, registered letter to contact address on their website and cancelled standing order - no further contact with Virgin media
-
Cherry Von Boom (@cherry_ugh) reported@virginmedia @O2 Day 14 of not having a working phone, of having 3 counts of fraud on my account, on having people STILL trying to hack your login page, of getting no help, and my gods, I can see why you’ve been fined 28 million. And the transphobic complaints team? Chefs kiss.
-
Disco Biscuit (@discobiscuit900) reported@Ofcom So you're gonna pay those customers for their troubles out of the 28 million? Of course not. Who knows what ******** you're gonna do with the millions, but we can be certain that the people that Virgin Media dicked get nothing.
-

-
Ian Archard (@archard_ia53975) reportedVirgin Media has been fined £28M for blocking, trapping customers in contracts they desperately wanted to leave. By dropping calls and using abusive tactics, they weaponised customer service to force retention. They are a spiteful company that got away with bullying for years.
-
Tommy Jones (@TommyJonesUK) reported@TheGriftReport Virgin Media fined £28m for trapping customers like hostages who can’t cancel. Their service is slower than rigor mortis, but leaving? Harder than faking your own death to escape.
-
𝕯𝖊𝖆𝖓𝖔𝖇𝖆𝖌𝖎𝖔 (@Deanobagio) reported@virginmedia And now its down again. This is constant.
-
Ian McNee (@IanSMcNee) reportedI ditched @VirginMedia years ago over terrible customer service - this is the same as water companies: a semi-monopoly owned by US finance: asset stripping profiteers. Switched to local independent Andrews & Arnold - @AAISP. Top service, real people on the phone who fix problems.
-
Ian McNee (@IanSMcNee) reported@premnsikka Something of a tangent Prem but there are good domestic service providers that are not owned by US multinationals. I ditched the appalling @VirginMedia years ago over their terrible customer service & moved to Andrews & Arnold - @AAISP. A little more expensive but great service.
