  • purplelime
Sam (@purplelime) reported from South Shields, England

@virginmedia I didn’t get the opportunity to call yesterday, but I noticed last night that it’s working again. There was nothing mentioned on service page (not unusual) but there must’ve been a fault that was eventually fixed.

  • pearceswan
David Pearce (@pearceswan) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@virginmedia I’ve tried to use the add-on service as being a broadband customer I’m able to download to the O2 app however I cannot sign in as I do not have a mobile number and it will not accept my landline, can you help

  • UnicornRunning
Paul Jukes A874036 (@UnicornRunning) reported from South Shields, England

@gotthegistofit @virginmedia Same, just spent a frustrating hour on their "customer service" line because about £40 of calls are on my father-in-law's bill which weren't made. Still not resolved and an engineer has to come our first (which they wanted to charge for!)

  • NETheatreGuide
NETheatreGuide (@NETheatreGuide) reported from Ryton, England

@virginmedia The signal struggles to get to each room in the house. My son complains as he games. No chance of streaming music in the bathroom. It isn't a big house either. The deal I'm on currently was negotiated when I spoke to disconnection team rather than intro offer.

liam sholder (@liamsholder91) reported from Newburn, England

@virginmedia twice in 2 months that my hub 5 has completely gone down with a flashing red light and won’t work, I’ve had to book a technician for it both times. Costs too much for this to keep happening!

  • tenchylad
Stu (@tenchylad) reported from Sunderland, England

@virginmedia why is your self service so poor please. Unable to resolve the fault that I have on my service for 2 days now. No one to speak to and the website is abhorrent in terms of customer experience and engagement. Endless loop of bad requests within the servers you use too

  • didixon74
LadyDi (@didixon74) reported from Blyth, England

@virginmedia please can some one contact me about my unresolved complaint. Genuinely worst service I have aver received, want to cancel my contract as I have lost all confidence in your service. Over 4 hours on the phone in the last week and still no further forward. Thanks

@virginmedia can you let me know if are there any problems with landline in the NE34 area? Can’t make or receive calls, not sure how long it’s been this way. Your status page says all services are fine. Thanks.

  • stephwales_
Steph. (@stephwales_) reported from Gateshead, England

  • KeithRwc
Keith Dawson (@KeithRwc) reported from Washington, England

Looks like @virginmedia are again trying to take Netflix payment that should already be included in my Volt. This is disgusting behaviour having already spoke to them previously!! Anyone else having similar issues?

  • gazza_d
Real Gaz on a proper bike #fbpe (@gazza_d) reported from South Shields, England

@_MMaritima @virginmedia Wired speed test would be to isolate between a wireless problem or the connection in. Router might be shielded which would kill signal. Make sure other electronics aren't too close. I can ruin my wireless if I put router on top of my TiVo box

  • gazza_d
Real Gaz on a proper bike #fbpe (@gazza_d) reported from South Shields, England

@_MMaritima @virginmedia I'd say that needs an engineer visit then at least. Probably either a bad connection or a flakey modem. Phone and log it every time it goes off.

  • Corney77
Paul Corney (@Corney77) reported from Choppington, England

@virginmedia disgusting customer service once again. No manage to take a call to help fix another problem with our service. Can someone please contact me to help

  • Neil_Rivelino
Neil Todd (@Neil_Rivelino) reported from Mitford, England

@virginmedia We’ve never received a reply and no out of office. My wife has sent a chase last night. Feel really let down by @virginmedia #LetDown #PoorCustomerExperience

  • mickeywhizz
Michael Taylor (@mickeywhizz) reported from Newburn, England

@markcatchlove @virginmedia Pleased it’s not just me Mark. It really pee’s me off the contempt with which they treat their existing, loyal customers, some of whom have remained loyal since the days when they were Telewest. #newcustomersonly

  • P25_Fletch
Paul fletcher (@P25_Fletch) reported from South Shields, England

@virginmedia You’s really do make it almost impossible to cancel. I’ve called 5 times over 3 days. Either don’t get transferred or get cut off. Looks like I’ll try by writing a letter….

@virginmedia I already said i did status check which is estimating 5.08pm fix. My point was text says should be fixed shortly. I dont consider 9hours being shortly. Why does this happen more often now? You are no longer reliable any more 🙁

@virginmedia I have messaged. I have taken days off on multiple occasions to wait in for engineers to attend. I was assured that due to external works I would not need to be in today, however the issue STILL has not been fixed despite assurances it would be sorted.

  • SimmO73_

Has anyone got Virgin Media’s TV 360 service. Is it any good, as Virgin keeps pushing me to upgrade for free to this from the V6 boxes I have and I’m not sure. #virginmedia
