  • DJLKP LKP - DJ / Vocalist (PSiMiTAR) (@DJLKP) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@virginmedia 17 days with no TV service, finally resumed today after another manual restarts at this end. Any chance of a refund of half of this month? That's pretty dire.

  • Look_North Karl Ward (@Look_North) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@virginmedia I dread clicking that link. I fear being sucked down the rabbit hole of Ai customer service bots where I eventually give up until I'm exasperated by the next monthly bill increase.

  • pumbingchap Cameron Ross (@pumbingchap) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia They advised, reset, changing from 2.4 to 5. Then back again. Changing the settings on the account. Done this multiple times. Customer service hung up on me then I rang back again and was told I hung up on them. Awaiting a supervisor call. It’s never worked since installation

  • P25_Fletch Paul fletcher (@P25_Fletch) reported from South Shields, England

@virginmedia You’s really do make it almost impossible to cancel. I’ve called 5 times over 3 days. Either don’t get transferred or get cut off. Looks like I’ll try by writing a letter….

  • adamappleby Adam Appleby (@adamappleby) reported from Sunderland, England

@virginmedia seems your Cs WhatsApp is broken, can anyone one reactivate my WiFi pod?

Well since complaining on here about @virginmedia and their terrible phone calls last week I’ve had 5 calls in the last three days all trying to sell me the same upgrade. Absolutely this close (fingers mms apart) from cancelling with them completely. FFS sort it out!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

@virginmedia is there any way to speak to customer service given your customer service line is closed? And your online support team is offline?

  • jmzparky James Parkinson (@jmzparky) reported

@virginmedia Herein lies the issue! - can't you see that the irony of me making an initial complaint about security getting in the way of providing good customer service - and you replying with that tweet!?

  • Sirbenchallis Ben Challis (@Sirbenchallis) reported

@virginmedia I think we have very different approaches to 'customer service'. But one question - can you direct me to where the addresses are on the website? I had to use google. Are there any other numbers without the long delay?

  • psclement Phil clement (@psclement) reported

@virginmedia Yep apparently none, every time I ring support I’m told there is in fact an issue that’s being worked on. So I assume it the same this time.

  • billy406 Billy Lenihan (@billy406) reported

@virginmedia That’s there’s an issue being worked on by engineers but the estimated fix date is next week. Even though the first person said there was no faults. And no compensation available for the inconvenience

  • JoTownsend77 joannamay (@JoTownsend77) reported

@virginmedia having awful issues with my broadband can anyone help? I’ve tried all online help and just been cut off on the phone

  • MissLauraJSmith Laura Smith (@MissLauraJSmith) reported

Having swapped broadband provider, I'd hoped to get away from de-camping from office to lounge (where router is) @virginmedia for video calls. When will the nec. roadworks be completed; a splitter was used to my property Dec 2020 and I am still waiting. Help desk couldn't advise.

  • paulafraser13 Paula (@paulafraser13) reported

@virginmedia Just to let you kn8w that I have just tried calling customer service and was immediately cut off. Why should I pay for such rubbish service

  • xavxavav Xav (@xavxavav) reported

@virginmedia can someone PLEASE get in touch with me about my terribly unreliable wifi?! It's been a week and the text service doesn't work, your phone lines are down. I pay too much for fast wifi if I can't use it and will cancel my service. #virginmediaisunreliable #virginmedia

  • justtracy Tracy Payne (@justtracy) reported

@virginmedia I'm trying to contact you regarding a problem with my V6 and TiVo boxes but the 150 phone number doesn't seem to be working. Please advise.
