@virginmedia £20 a month 'existing customer' penalty on the best you can offer me Vs the best new customer deal is just too much, afraid that's a cancellation from a 10 years loyal customer. £240 is a lot of money!

@virginmedia It’s difficult to articulate in a tweet but speaking to someone in an offshore contact centre who has a very poor grasp of English is extremely frustrating. There is no malice in this, it’s just a statement of fact, I couldn’t make myself understood, it took 4 calls and 75 mins.

Allan Davis (@AL_SNR58) reported from Sunderland, England

@virginmedia No known issues. It’s only wireless speeds. There is no excuse for this, it happens to me almost everyday. I would like to discuss it with someone as I tried at the weekend and was completely fobbed off by your service team. I pay nearly £50 a month and often have to use my 4G

martyn cummings (@nikonninja69) reported
@virginmedia Yes, i guess it would be more convenient for network problems to happen in office hours. Your app doesnt work so the only way ppl can tell you about the outages in on here. And you say it isnt even manned 24 hrs? Wow. Thats customer service.
-
Dr. Peter Sear (@DrPeterSear) reported
@virginmedia Why would any company ask it’s customer to share personal information on a public platform? You can’t call me, even when you promise to do, you can’t email or text. You’re failing holistically.
-
Beth (@BethDrumstick) reported
@virginmedia As like everyone in my area and around places near where i live it’s been dropping in and out for months. Even with a simple reset it doesn’t fix the issue then at that point it’s a waiting game

@virginmedia Quality and consistent is more important than speed. It doesn’t make sense if internet doesn’t work i. Wifi. Wired connection is not a solution for everything, which I have beem suggesting all the time.

Les Robinson (@MrLesRobinson) reported
@virginmedia All devices (mobile, laptop, ipad etc) and its usually wifi, but also a combo of both wifi and wired at times. Have got a hub 3 at moment and its been awful wifi coverage since day one. Have also got a booster pod and it offers no extra help either. Only live in a 2 up and 2 down.
-
Beth (@BethDrumstick) reported
@virginmedia I literally said don’t say sorry to me. Your all full of false sorrys. If you acted on your **** then nobody would be complaining or threatening to leave. It’s just crazy that such a once praised bandwidth has went so bad. And to answer your question yes it’s both.
-

@sarab198216 @virginmedia I can feel your pain Sara as i am in the same pain. Buying virgin broadband was my biggest mistake and now we trapped for 18 months. Their wifi never works constantly, no matter what they claim. Their engineers are not skilled to fix the issue but they want best feedback

Sweet Gal (@Jackdaw0pu) reported
@virginmedia It should not take 14 days to set voicemail up. Is there a national problem with voicemail? Please confirm yes or no
