@NatalieeeLoweee @virginmedia I had this issue. Got home from work to watch charity shield #MCILIV after avoiding the score and it was unwatchable because of the sound issues for me so I gave up. Will just watch #motd tonight instead. #nothappy

James Robert Hedges (@jameshedges4) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia I need someone to contact me immediately as I need to make a serious complaint about service. Completely ready to escalate to higher management as this incompetence of this company is a disgrace

@virginmedia its for my broad band service
-
Michael Taylor (@mickeywhizz) reported from Newburn, England
@virginmedia Media. I ditched the TV part of the bundle years ago, but am still currently paying £50.99 p/m for 150mb broadband and a phone we never use. Come September, when you increase it by another £3.50 it’ll have gone from £37 in Dec 16 to £54.49 - A ridiculous 47% INCREASE......
-
Jonathan Cushlow (@Jonnycushlow) reported from Gateshead, England
@virginmedia your broadband is garbage. Forever puttin the price up and your service gets worse #sky incoming
-
⚕ ᑕᕼᖇIS ⚕ (@kicka11) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia Media service. I waited 30 mins to speak to someone, after selecting an electronic option to cancel. "I'm not authorised to cancel". Now back on hold. Virgin has the worst customer service of any company I've interacted with. It's insane.
-
Liam A Cottam (@LiamCottam) reported from Hebburn, England
@virginmedia Everyone was fine (eventually). The feedback is simple. If I can self serve setting up and managing my account I should be able to self serve cancel.
-
Michael Taylor (@mickeywhizz) reported from Newburn, England
@virginmedia Thanks for your help with this, but can you please refrain from using foreign call centres; it is incredibly frustrating trying to explain to someone that you’re unhappy about your bill, who interprets this as a technical problem.......
-
Leslie Brown (@LeslieBrown953) reported from Hebburn, England
@virginmedia Disgusted at the speed of my broadband I am receiving. Signal very very slow. Paying for M50 broadband. Feel I am paying over the odds for what I am getting. But I already know your reply. Everything ok our side. Also received that the price is going up #ripoff
-
Paul 'The View' Carver (@tenaka66) reported from Cramlington, England

@Kasiohead_ @virginmedia I have no advice for you but I would like to add my voice to the fact they are utterly terrible.
-
Tracey Ainsley (@ThunderbirdWPC) reported from Whickham, England
@virginmedia Tried to pm you but won’t let me. Someone coming Wednesday now to sort problem
-
Michael Taylor (@mickeywhizz) reported from Newburn, England
@virginmedia This has never been suggested before; you’ve been quite happy just to take the money and then hit me with an annual increase way above inflation. I’ve spoken to customer services on a couple of times in the last couple of months, and the offers have been quite frankly insulting.
-
⚕ ᑕᕼᖇIS ⚕ (@kicka11) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia Worst customer service I've ever encountered. On multiple occasions over several years. Rudeness and lack of knowledge being the main issues, along with the usual very long hold times.
-
Graeme Stickings (@Stickings90) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia what was my TiVo box meant to be updating. I woke in the night to find it on and the screen saying it was updating software, don't switch off. I rang 151 to find out, but the automatic system said there was an issue and sent a restart pulse 1/2
-
⚕ ᑕᕼᖇIS ⚕ (@kicka11) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia can you please advise how I can easily cancel my service ASAP. It's (deliberately) impossible to contact your company by phone.
-
minkewales (@minkewales) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@Dabooka @skybiggerpic @virginmedia It was my second attempt to be fair. First time they reduced the price rise to £1.50 per month, then I rang back a few days later to cancel. Found a better deal elsewhere but price was the driver for wanting to leave. Lovely @virginmedia agent was able to help!
-
Tony Hodson #coach (@Tony_Hodson) reported from Ponteland, England
@virginmedia 1. Why the neighbour would not have the same issues when the ‘issue’ is your automated phone system is beyond my comprehension! 2. It is not a neighbours responsibility to resolve a phone issue for the bill payer. 3. Through an internal contact I now have an engineer visit bkd.
-
pipkins (@fredspoon) reported from Chester-le-Street, England
@DMcCSE17 @virginmedia All phone signal in London is terrible including public Wi-fi. I love when I come back to north east for a decent signal and decent Wi-fi speed :)

@virginmedia My problem is your txt service and response for this issue has been so poor I want to cancel my service. It’s simply not how you treat people. Completely unacceptable
-
Kevin Gannon (@kgannon1) reported
@virginmedia No the second engineer seemed to solve it but it started happening again. It was to do with network setting and connection cables. But we’ve now had intermittent WiFi for 7 days and no compensation for earlier loss of service
-
Henry McLean-Low (@HenryMcleanLow) reported
@virginmedia Getting very fed up of your intermittent service! Another morning of having to tether to my phone as the internet is unusable. Any ETA on fix?!
-
Queer Beholder 🏳️🌈 (@Mecha_Rontharo) reported
@OllieHill @virginmedia Shockingly bad service.
-
shannonaston (@shannonastonxx) reported
@virginmedia Not sure I’m in Irvine, Scotland? Can you see if there’s issues?
-
Chris Roach (@Chrisroach) reported
@ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia I moved back to Formby when we knew we were having our first child, the house we moved to wasn’t covered by their network. Although that wasn’t my fault they still charged us £400 for leaving the contract early.
-
ETID (@AncelottiArmy) reported
@virginmedia £190 is out of order though and a lot of money. You should just have a set amount like £99 would be more better especially after this year with a lot of people been furlough etc. I won’t be coming back and my parents our also leaving virgin when contract is up. So 2 customer lost
-
Jimb2 (@jimb2_) reported
@virginmedia I will monitor, I have provided you with a tech number and complaint number for the cable issue can you look into why I am still waiting: Tech ID 107332_3710 Complaint ID COM1044332345 I've spent far too much time dealing with Virgin on this -
-
Matt Dickinson (@mattd1981) reported
@virginmedia appalling service. Have logged complaint to be told it can take up to 8 WEEKS to look at!!!! Really really not good enough. TV, broadband, landline and mobile customer and looks like time to move elsewhere. Such a shame @richardbranson
-
Greg Anderson (@GregAnd12668397) reported
@ALANMYERSMEDIA @virginmedia The worst thing is the stress it causes older people. My mum gets really upset by this sort of thing. Older generation don't do email and automated telephone calls
