An hour trying to resolve a "phantom calls" issue last night which now needs an engineer visit, and spotted that a direct debit is in an incorrect name but this can't be changed via WhatsApp chat and needs *another* call.

Still not resolved and an engineer has to come our first (which they wanted to charge for!)

The level of complacence is that big that they are refusing to connect up to 4 houses next to one where they offer fibre and there's no land ownership issue.

The engineer's conclusion seems to be that it's not worth the effort to extend the network by 10 metres, via a footpath which I own. And that's bang in the centre of a village right outside London.
