    @virginmedia Yes spoke to a member of the team, we have been having issues with our wifi. She offered to send another booster & cable out free off charge. Available on our contract. I’ve just received email to say my payments are going up to £60!!

    @virginmedia why is your self service so poor please. Unable to resolve the fault that I have on my service for 2 days now. No one to speak to and the website is abhorrent in terms of customer experience and engagement. Endless loop of bad requests within the servers you use too

    @virginmedia 17 days with no TV service, finally resumed today after another manual restarts at this end. Any chance of a refund of half of this month? That's pretty dire.

    @virginmedia It's not a problem at my end, and it's not just me affected. Have you really not noticed a flurry of people saying the same thing? I know people in different areas of the UK who have the same problems at the same times.

    @gotthegistofit @virginmedia Same, just spent a frustrating hour on their "customer service" line because about £40 of calls are on my father-in-law's bill which weren't made. Still not resolved and an engineer has to come our first (which they wanted to charge for!)

    “You don’t need to be there, we can do the cable work outside no problem” That translated into a card through the door saying “Sorry we missed you” and the work not being done. Don’t really understand that one @virginmedia

    Time for the @virginmedia renewal. They want to hike the price. We want a new reliable WiFi box which they promised but didn't deliver last time. To be honest @BT is looking attractive as they may improve the signal around the house.

    @virginmedia everything else is working except kids channels 712 to 717, W02 error. No other channel issues or broadband, done all the standard resets, unplugged at mains etc. Do I need to call to have this resolved? TV guide just says 'to be announced' Everything else is fine.

    @virginmedia I didn’t get the opportunity to call yesterday, but I noticed last night that it’s working again. There was nothing mentioned on service page (not unusual) but there must’ve been a fault that was eventually fixed.

    @OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Under UK law (primarily the Consumer Rights Act 2015), broadband services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and be of satisfactory quality. A complete outage lasting 7 weeks is almost certainly a breach, giving you the right to end the contract and seek a remedy (like cancellation without penalty or a refund for the affected period). Virgin Media participates in Ofcom's automatic compensation scheme for total loss of service (no internet at all via wired connection). You should already be getting ~£10.34 per day automatically after the first 2 full working days of reporting the fault. This doesn't directly let you cancel penalty-free, but it supports your case.

    @virginmedia @virginmedia my tv, broadband & phone is down again. Just missed the final of BGT which I spent months watching only to miss the final results. I can’t lodge the problem online as it won’t allow me. Judging by all the comments online, seems Virgin have serious problems

    @footballontnt What’s the deal with TNT Sports and Virgin media and the HBO app. Signed up. But the app doesn’t allow access. And for that reason I’ll be gone in 30 days. This time forever. Such a ridiculous solution. Doesn’t work. So it’s gone and so is my business. Forever.

    @britfoodfinder @virginmedia They had a major crash last August...thats when my issue started. After that it wouldnt accept my password, asked for a passkey which I'd never even set up, but didnt provide an option to do so even an 'Ive forgotten my passkey...' etc.

    @virginmedia Our service in CM16 went down on Thursday 28th @ 10pm. Ridiculous 'updates' have been sent every few hours. The supposed fix is now 2nd June. What on earth is going on?

    @OliverGMcManus @katedodd3 @virginmedia It was a great day when I got these rip off merchants out of my life. If uou Google it you will see tgere are multiple mass complaints to Ofcom about obstacles they create to customers trying to switch away. Keep going and threaten a formal complaint.
