Paul Jukes A874036 (@UnicornRunning) reported from South Shields, England@virginmedia This appears to be a known issue on your forums (phantom calls) but we refuse to be charged for the visit. Also waiting for a WhatsApp for over an hour because the direct debit still has his late wife's name on account after 7+ years, & we can't change it online (same acc no.).
-
Pete Irving (@ZicoPete) reported from Sunderland, England@virginmedia No, tried 3 times on hold for 20 minutes then cut off by agents without saying a word. After checking other responses I can see this has been the issue either other customers.

Continued anxiety and distress for an elderly woman is not the bereavement service I’d expect. Appalling.

Paul Jukes A874036 (@UnicornRunning) reported from South Shields, England@virginmedia Lots of people are complaining about this on the customer forums. We've had very little downtime since the separate router was connected, it's suddenly gone to pot and seems to be a general issue at the moment.
-
LadyDi (@didixon74) reported from Blyth, England@virginmedia In October agreed new contract, came to install last week got new router and have since cancelled the packages that was agreed. I am now been charged more and getting less services. Tried to resolve last week over the phone & not no further forward so just want to cancel now.
-
Rockcliffe Files (@RockcliffeFiles) reported from Whitley Bay, EnglandHello @BarclaysUK, phoned you for ten successive days and it’s an hour long queue, been into branch, you can’t sort the issue, tried chat via the app, you don’t talk mortgages on the app. You are beginning to reach peak Virgin Media for incompetence, I’m sorry, this is appalling.
-
Sarah (@Rainbowztwit) reported from Whitley Bay, England.@virginmedia Broadband down - phone line states because of 'improvements'- not expected back until 3pm. Why was there no notice so I could arrange to work from alternate location? How do I get warning in future?
-
🦦 Helen (@vitosauras) reported from Gateshead, England@virginmedia It's not a problem at my end, and it's not just me affected. Have you really not noticed a flurry of people saying the same thing? I know people in different areas of the UK who have the same problems at the same times.
-
NETheatreGuide (@NETheatreGuide) reported from Ryton, England@virginmedia You offer the same package to new customers at nearly £20 cheaper so it isn't the lowest price possible, is it? Spoke 18 months ago about signal. Was told it would be looked at if I agreed to renew. Once renewed was told WiFi is not guaranteed so tough.
-
emma (@ema_neale) reported from Sunderland, England@virginmedia Thanks for your reset help earlier it worked, unlike waiting 10 hrs for someone to finally respond to me again via WhatsApp. I was told that there were no offers for current customers yet your website states otherwise!
-
Karl Ward (@Look_North) reported from Whitley Bay, England@virginmedia I dread clicking that link. I fear being sucked down the rabbit hole of Ai customer service bots where I eventually give up until I'm exasperated by the next monthly bill increase.

Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported10+ years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.
