Real Gaz of Trumpton #fbpe (@gazza_d) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia It would help if you read the thread and the attached screenshot. I did email with specific requests under gdpr. That was forwarded within VM and I got a generic dismissive reply which didn't even acknowledge the queries. Further eroding trust in VM
-
Matt Dodge Donnelly (@dodgestweet) reported from Walker Gate, England
@virginmedia Hi I text two evenings ago when you told me too, and then received a very generic response about upgrading my package online. I have since text again to say that the problem is with the increase and that I may need to cancel but nothing back yet. Over 6 hours on hold now to you!
-
S t e p h . ♡ (@stephwales_) reported from Gateshead, England
Great what deals you can get when you ring to cancel your contract 👍 @virginmedia a very helpful Hayley in your call centre. Paying less now for more than double what I had before.

-
Real Gaz of Trumpton #fbpe (@gazza_d) reported from South Shields, England
@WilliamNB @virginmedia Nope. Stuff thankfully works pretty well but company is proving to be awful. Shamelessly trying to use the breach their sloppiness allowed to wriggle out of the gdpr queries I've lodged as a result of the breach.

Marilyn malibu (@Marilyn_huartt) reported from South Shields, England
@virginmedia Can’t answer calls ems bouncing back. Wouldn’t it make more sense to just take everyone’s sports package off. Paying £125 per month at this my point my other half is ready to cancel everything when we can.
-
Robby (@RobbyRSSRobot) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England
@virginmedia Thanks. Just checking as it calls me your customer and I'm not! 🤣
-
Danny Robinson (@dannyrobbo82) reported from Wallsend, England
@virginmedia understand that like every other business that you’re short staffed with the pandemic, but the speed of internet recently has been shocking. Website is useless, community help is useless. Don’t want to ring up, yet they’re happy to still take my money every month.
-
Patrick O'Kane (@sportingpat) reported from Whickham, England
@virginmedia No, unfortunately I never got that far. Seriously considering just cancelling and going with a company that has more respect for its customers. Literally became a client 5 days ago

-
Ollie Dewis (@olliedewis) reported
A scheme was approved via @Ofcom 2 yrs ago stating that if you lose internet for a day a provider won’t compensate you but if you lose service for 48 hours you’ll get £8 a day? Well that seems fair doesn’t it? Really? What if you have eg 5 x 24 hr outages in a month? @virginmedia
-
Fraser Peacock (@fraser_peacock) reported
@virginmedia Done that on my laptop and it’s exactly the same. Your colleagues have informed me this morning that there is a known issue in my area.
