Cancelled @virginmedia Starplayz subscription as they have no channel number and no app to search for programmes! Crazy and call centre staff don’t understand why this is a problem. Don’t waste £5 a month.

  • RockcliffeFiles Rockcliffe Files (@RockcliffeFiles) reported from Whitley Bay, England

  • jameshedges4 James Robert Hedges (@jameshedges4) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@virginmedia No known issues. It’s only wireless speeds. There is no excuse for this, it happens to me almost everyday. I would like to discuss it with someone as I tried at the weekend and was completely fobbed off by your service team. I pay nearly £50 a month and often have to use my 4G

  • rl_chris_higham Chris Higham (@rl_chris_higham) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@virginmedia £20 a month 'existing customer' penalty on the best you can offer me Vs the best new customer deal is just too much, afraid that's a cancellation from a 10 years loyal customer. £240 is a lot of money!

  • ThomasMcGowan1 Thomas McGowan (@ThomasMcGowan1) reported from Gateshead, England

  • RockcliffeFiles Rockcliffe Files (@RockcliffeFiles) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@virginmedia It’s difficult to articulate in a tweet but speaking to someone in an offshore contact centre who has a very poor grasp of English is extremely frustrating. There is no malice in this, it’s just a statement of fact, I couldn’t make myself understood, it took 4 calls and 75 mins.

  • RockcliffeFiles Rockcliffe Files (@RockcliffeFiles) reported from Whitley Bay, England

@danielpwood1 @virginmedia I don’t have a regional accent so am normally easily understood, I’m also very patient, enjoy speaking to the Indian guys about cricket, but tonight it was unprofessional and my near thirty years service to VM in all it’s guises rendered irrelevant

  • ian_safc_1974 Ian (@ian_safc_1974) reported from Dunston, England

@lisadunn1978 @virginmedia They sound awful. Is broadband itself any better

  • dohkell Brown. (@dohkell) reported

@virginmedia If you say so, but intermittent service is bad. By the time a customer gets to speak with an operator they are often met with nonsensical solutions from foreign personnel who actually don't have a virgin media service. Never mind, no point in replying, I just want it out there

@virginmedia It just says loading and brings me to your Home Screen, I’ve got good signal and still nothing?

As a heads up guys NEVER go with @virginmedia. They have been harassing us for money even after canceling our services 3 months ago. We have had 13 calls to get this sorted and been told 3 times it's been sorted only then to get further threatening emails about unpaid bills.

  • simondmarshall Simon Marshall (@simondmarshall) reported

@virginmedia Do you think it’s fair that virgin doesn’t secure its broadband on my street so that it is liable to interruption but still charges the customer?

  • baingraeme Graeme (@baingraeme) reported

@virginmedia Logged a complaint directly with Virgin Media's CEO 6 weeks ago. The matter still remains unresolved. You are an absolute nightmare to try and contact to progress anything. Ref C-220422869.
