@virginmedia my connection is intolerably slow, around 1mbps, but the test on your website says there are no faults. Video is awful.

@virginmedia A complaint. I’m now trying to call for third time this evening and your call handlers just drop the call after I wait in lengthy queues

@virginmedia Ok, I hope roaming charges won't be back. When I get the chance to go abroad it's good to know I can use Google maps, call home and get help if I need something without the worry of expensive charges.

@SkyUK I’m on it. Just having to deal with an issue with @virginmedia now as they’re claiming I’m still in a contract period despite living here four years! Asking for proof of contract as trying to charge me for wanting to leave

@virginmedia We have resolved it by turning the whole lot off and then on again and that seems to have fixed the issue #ClassicTechSupportAdvice

@sarahmiles82 @virginmedia Agreed. Never had a problem with them before. But when we moved last October the problems started, u just couldn't make it up. U can't ring them as they don't understand what tour telling them and they don't respond to their own online complaints system. #*****

@virginmedia That’s my issue. I took to Twitter as your call handlers CANNOT resolve my complaint. Your complaints process is shocking. You blackmail customers then do not actively respond to issues they raise.

@virginmedia can’t believe I’m having to complain again about your services in my area - yet again my broadband is down! This happens so often it is a joke! Pay for the fastest connection and get nothing #robbed #virginmedia #broadband #bristol

@virginmedia With all due respect, you’ve not helped me at all. You simply have directed me to call the number that I’ve called three times already. I’d love to know how you expect customers to resolve issues!

@BethMotherwell @virginmedia I’d recommend the latter. If this is the case when you’re a prospective customer, think of when they’ve already got your money and you’re in contract.

I'd like to thank @virginmedia. The fact that your new VO service is absolutely shocking, not user friendly and painfully slow, has luckily stopped me spending the £12.99 that my wife wanted to spend on "The Star is Born" PHEW!!!!!! Every cloud and all that.

@virginmedia are an absolute joke. Such poor customer service. Complaints not followed up, call handlers that clearly have scripts to read and can’t answer questions and then just end the call because they can’t answer the questions.

@virginmedia I am tearing my hair out with your customer service and awful WiFi. I have tried and tried to get it resolved via customer services but to no avail. Last night I was again promised a call back to resolve the issue and again no call back was received. Please sort this

Gemma
(@gemma_brown83) reported
@virginmedia I did call and they said they didn’t know why, they originally told me it would now be today but it has been changed in my app to Monday. I’m really annoyed as I’m paying £105 a month for this and have had these issues for 6 weeks at least.
-
Kev
(@VeryGrumpyKev) reported
@virginmedia So you apply a charge and expect me to beg for a refund. Don’t think so. You’ve already scammed money out of me. Once bitten twice shy and all that. Stop tripping yourself up John. You really need some customer experience training. Or stop drinking at work.
-
John-Henry Barac
(@johnhenry) reported
@virginmedia Yes but it’s a kafkaesque Catch22 - processes designed to put customers off and paradoxes such as discounts that take your costs higher that they were. You didn’t design this shambles, and are clearly not really empowered to help.
-
Clive Grinyer

My old friend @virginmedia, 40 minutes from saying exactly what I wanted to do and then they tell me it’s the wrong department. Still the worst customer service. Come on Liberty Global, get a grip.
-

@virginmedia So to be honest I have no idea what the charge was. I just want confirmation that my service has ended and what the £80+ charge was for.

@virginmedia I'm sick of this intermittent connection and inability to get it fixed because it's "right when next checked". Given past experience with your systems since June 2000 I'm 99% certain the hub is failing yet booking an engineer is problematic. HELP!

@virginmedia Right.. isn’t this the general customer services number though. I’m phoning about a complaint which they logged. Exactly how are they going to discuss the outcome when there is no outcome. It says to refer to self help.
