Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England@virginmedia Hi, I got through & they ran some tests & everything was fine(:-) but it was suggested that maybe there is some Network maintenance somewhere & that when it’s completed the Top Green Flashing light on the Router will go back to normal🤞🙏👍
-
Razvan Neacsu (@RNeacsu) reported from Didcot, England@virginmedia Internet keeps disconnecting. Called, useless as always. Intermittent issues or connectivity issues. Just send an engineer to check, why wait for another 24h when this is an ongoing issue. I've even reset the hub, still same issues.
-
Woody Harrison (@woodythemover) reported from Carterton, England@stephcassidy56 @virginmedia @skytv Ouch, not good, hopefully they will try to help

Razvan Neacsu (@RNeacsu) reported from Didcot, England@virginmedia And yes I called to your outage number, apparently there is no known issue in the area. Even though last night at 11.30pm in the app the status check showed every service is down, even though they weren't down last night. This happens only during working hours.
-
bannedbird (@acikbasufuk) reported from Cumnor, England@virginmedia the worse customer service and layer I never ever buy their services again
-
Michelle Wolfenden (@ajthesheepdocto) reported from Grove, England@virginmedia Thank you - when I run the TV check it says there is an issue. Guess we just need to sit it out. Sadly we appear to be the only ones in the area with an issue (have asked around)
-
Inmita Medina (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England@virginmedia You apologize??? Really??? In the middle of a pandemic , I am a key worker and had to work from home today band I have missed all the meetings. I wish I could cancel my contract and had nothing to do with Virgin ever again!
-
Inmita La **** Peora de Offo (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England@virginmedia Internet is not working properly in my pc and your virgin app does not work either. It has been like that since last night.
-
Pepetideo (@pepetideo) reported from Didcot, EnglandAfter waiting for over 1 hour to talk to a human on @virginmedia, can't help but feel like I was being trolled by the choice of background songs. One says "I could get used to this", other about being down down down... Somehow I don't think this is the best choice of mood music.
-
Nick Malden (@Malders) reported from Godstow, England@virginmedia Yes the internet has been down all day in Ox2 8pg. I rely on it for work!
-

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Chris Mullan (@ericthecatmk2) reported@Ofcom I had this problem with Virgin Media 4 years ago and told them the reason I'd never go back to them was because how difficult they'd made it for me to leave them. Months of stress
-
Joshua Garfield (@JoshuaGarfield) reportedTook me 18 months to tactically swerve Virgin Media after they tripled my broadband payments while moving home. They are unscrupulous. I’m with Community Fibre now and after 10 (mostly forced) years with Virgin, I’ll never return.
-
Kerrin McIntosh 💙 (@kerbear_t) reported@virginmedia I’ve had no WiFi since yesterday and it tells me a fix likely by Monday. How do I run a business like this? Plus it costs me more using mobile data to try send emails. Poor service! And with the news this week one would think you’d be trying to keep customers happy!!
-
RednalNut (@RednalNut) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia Ofcom fine Virgin Media £28 million. But fail to regulate. Where does the money go? There are regulatory bodies for everything in the uk, Water, Energy, Communications, Banking, Health Care. Do they actually do anything?
-
harley ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ (@whisperwoIf) reported@housecatkai @virginmedia i have mixed opinions on them, like they've provided the fastest internet speeds i've had out of other ISPs we've been with (sky, BT and talktalk) but our services always go down at least once a month and it's infuritating 😭😭
-
Kizzy Lewandowski (@LewyKizzy) reported@virginmedia Down again . Why ? 09.07 from 11.35 am
-
Shelton (@CBTwizard) reportedGood @Ofcom 28 million fined to the parasites that are Virgin Media. Good. I have been victim to this horrible pass on pass on (6+ hours on the phone) department to department and back to start again, as well as a 2 year new contract without my consent (early termination £500 being chased for, after 2000+ disconnections in a month, email proof, text proof, delayed line fixes) list goes on. Parasites, charging elderly people £70+ for like 100mb Maybe @MartinSLewis applied some well deserved pressure. If I'm not mistaken @dshensmith had issues too.
-
Rob Heneghan (@robheneghan) reported@virginmedia Thanks for being no help whatsoever? 3 days no internet but as usual you guys don’t seem to care. Shocking service as usual….
-
Kingofsalemsdaughter (@salemsdaughters) reportedBBCs report on Virgin Media is 100% accurate. When I informed them that i had moved house to an area they did not cover they pushed me to stay until my contract ended. I had also had several technical difficulties to which they delayed any actions to fix the tech issues; what was the issue? i was unable to change my email. I call their customer service dep and neither of them were able to help me. This happened on several occasions Where i had to wait WEEKS for very easy to solve problems. @virginmedia
-
James Washington (@Rei_Never) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia This is mental. When I moved house, over a decade ago now, they were upfront with the contract. However, they did indeed massively screw up - cancelled the DD for the new contract, left the old one in place, I was still paying for the old service. Took 6 months to fix.
