@virginmedia And yes I called to your outage number, apparently there is no known issue in the area. Even though last night at 11.30pm in the app the status check showed every service is down, even though they weren't down last night. This happens only during working hours.

  • zahoor_sheraz
Sheraz Zahoor (@zahoor_sheraz) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia was offered a wifi pod service last week due to the poor internet in my property, got the one pod and was told to call back on the 20/5/21 to order the additional 2 that are available, now on the phone to your team and getting nowhere!

  • MilesGomme
Miles Gomme (@MilesGomme) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia why did you bother sending out the email about opting out of having your Wi-Fi settings changed, when you go and do it anyway!! I had to reset and turn off all the changes you made! If it isn’t broken don’t fix it!!!

  • andyamonty
Andy Montgomery (@andyamonty) reported from Wantage, England

@virginmedia WiFi is STILL not working... new engineer installed today following a move, and couldn’t make it work. Promised me I’d get a call, but didn’t. I phoned tech support, they promised a call in 4 hours. Guess what THEY DIDNT EITHER.

  • inmilla68
Inmita Medina (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia I just want to cancel my contract. You are not a reliable company. You can’t even bother to speak with the customers that pay you.

  • StuPCrook
Stuart Crook (@StuPCrook) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia what’s the issue with the TVGO can’t log on with devices registered or even check them in the browser now

  • BrianCobbold2
Brian Cobbold (@BrianCobbold2) reported from Bicester, England

@virginmedia Their understanding of the English Language was so poor, they offered me a discount that was £10 a month more than now. That was without getting any up to date equipment.

  • missdrivanova
Desi (@missdrivanova) reported from Oxfordshire, England

Hey @virginmedia - I have no WiFi at all since about 7pm last night (OX2). Any idea what the issue is and when it will be resolved? Thanks!

Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia I’ve been looking into this problem & the TV is all Connected to my Virginmedia Internet then it suddenly disconnects from the Internet & then this is why it goes back to my TV Homescreen then i go back into settings & wireless network click on this & then it’s returns & works🤪?

  • a1_nos
A1NOS (@a1_nos) reported from Abingdon, England

@CloopR @virginmedia Just horrid. I had the same problem with Vodafone. In the end the only way I resolved it was a good friend was golfing buddies with the CEO otherwise I don’t think I’d have sorted it.

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

You only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

  • RNeacsu
Razvan Neacsu (@RNeacsu) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia Internet keeps disconnecting. Called, useless as always. Intermittent issues or connectivity issues. Just send an engineer to check, why wait for another 24h when this is an ongoing issue. I've even reset the hub, still same issues.

  • inmilla68
Inmita Medina (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia Yes. We have been without internet in the area since yesterday and sit nice yesterday you are saying you will get it fix in the next 4 hours. Just now, another text that we’ll have to wait till 8 o’clock. This a joke, honestly 😡

  • JurassicGarden
Char (@JurassicGarden) reported from Didcot, England

The worst part of Lockdown wasn't the loneliness, the boredom or the agitation. It was seeing ******* Birdseye, McCain's and Virgin Media shoving happy family lockdown vibes down your throat to advertise themselves.

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Begbroke, England

@virginmedia Yes.. After much back and forth to simply getting teh to acknowledge they had overcharged me for 2 months... But the issue is... You took my money incorrectly but the refund takes a 45 days. This is absolutely despicable. There is no reason for a delay like that

  • Melyclassy
Melisa Soto (@Melyclassy) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@sandraHandscom1 @Bates_No1 @virginmedia I am on the same, worst customer experience ever. It is impossible to get on hold on the phone, they webpage is limited on options to cancel their service. #neveragain

  • Mat_Man_Miracle
    Andy Nightingale (@Mat_Man_Miracle) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia They are without a doubt the worst. I'm in a cable area and they jack the price up every 6/12 months and send a letter out confirming. Had an issue they never, ever sorted despite promises and engineers saying it would be. Never again.

  • IlPoofto
The Emperor Poofius Maximus (@IlPoofto) reported

    Limey (@Limey31649474) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Same experience over weekend. Too much to write here but the worst I’ve been seen, incompetent beyond compare. Will be cancelling and expect them to wave the £108 they want to charge me to do so. Have a complaint raised, apparently I can’t respond to it for 8 weeks! Crap.

  • apgloria
    adrian warren (@apgloria) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia They cannot be worse the Vodafone or BT, maybe as bad, but impossible to be worse
