Bill from virgin like nothing has changed Cal them... They say they didn't know I was moving. Say that I should not worry... They will fix it. 1.month after another full bill from virgin. 90.min on a call later they finaly agree they have ****** up and will return the money taken from me... In 45 DAYS!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY infuriating that they can get away with this fuckery and abuse of their customers.

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

@virginmedia @FuzziePieRat Yes.. And how ****** up is it that you treat your existing paying customers so badly they have to attempt to do these hacks to get what you are freely giving away to new customers?

  • Oxfordwolf

@virginmedia I've just received my price rise letter. Utterly extortionate! I will be calling you later to move providers. Your WiFi router is terrible as well. Perhapse my new provider will let me use the Internet more than 6ft away from the router?

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia @MartinSLewis honestly think you should help put more pressure on broadband providers. The fact this person has been without broadband for several weeks and can't leave without paying a exit fee is ridiculous.

  • 1030pa
    Keystonecop (@1030pa) reported

@melon_h @virginmedia Going by the number of issues involving Virgin Media , they may need to realise they have a problem

  • Johnm7fr

  • kkitkat_exe
    spidella's kitkat🍫 || exams (@kkitkat_exe) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia dude virgin media probably dont even know what theyre charging you for their customer service is so *** talk to an ombudsman theyll get back to you much quicker

  • Nasher6328
    Mr Nash (@Nasher6328) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Under UK law (primarily the Consumer Rights Act 2015), broadband services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and be of satisfactory quality. A complete outage lasting 7 weeks is almost certainly a breach, giving you the right to end the contract and seek a remedy (like cancellation without penalty or a refund for the affected period). Virgin Media participates in Ofcom's automatic compensation scheme for total loss of service (no internet at all via wired connection). You should already be getting ~£10.34 per day automatically after the first 2 full working days of reporting the fault. This doesn't directly let you cancel penalty-free, but it supports your case.

  • adamtracey8
    Adam Tracey (@adamtracey8) reported

@virginmedia @scoobiesue82 Tried everything you have recommended @virginmedia and still have the issue. It is only with Big Bang Theory on TLC channel 128. Can we get an update on this

  • RichTigheBrady
    Rich Brady (@RichTigheBrady) reported

@virginmedia Yes, it has happened yet again today. Not working at all. Rebooted several times. As usual App says no problems in the area. Happens every 4-6 weeks. Then we call virgin and wait 5-8 days for an engineer! Then it comes back on b4 engineer turns up.!

  • StevieJ____
    Steven Jackson (@StevieJ____) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Why did you not just log a formal complaint then go to the ombudsman when they say they won't let you leave without paying the fees? The ombudsman would clearly side with you and you probably would have already been with a new provider by now

  • Wmb1877
    William Bell (@Wmb1877) reported

@Just_Katie_x @virginmedia Had a similar problem with them years when cancelling due to moving house. Absolutely useless would never use them again.
