Bex Allen (@travellingbex) reported from Oxfordshire, England4yrs with @virginmedia never had a problem. But now that I do their 'customer service' sucks, endless cycles of talking to bots on their website, or being on hold for hours on the phone! 3 days of this just trying to get the Internet I'm paying for! #frustrated #virginmedia
-
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, EnglandYou only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

mec337 (@mec337) reported@virginmedia ok, what’s the issue with bbc iPlayer sometimes it wants to play sometimes I have to retry many times. Sometimes if I log in I have to wait 2 mins for it to then work. It’s not consistent and very very annoying
-
RoadRunner TX (@FredBra93439257) reported@TheMercianNews I'd like to see mobile phone and internet companies shut down operating in the UK on a single day. Have USN/Seals sever all international fiber into the UK on a single day. SHUT DOWN the City of London Physically SEVER International Fiber from BT/OpenReach, VirginMedia/O2, Vodaphone and the LINX Nework internchange in London. Ideally each line in 2-3 points of varying distance from UK shores to make repair more complex than laying new fiber. Air attack on all the major BT interchanges plus the physical operations of Cloudflare Akamai, AWS/Cloudfront, GoogleCloud CDN and smaller operators like Azure, Netflix, Meta and every source of new fiber either mfg or warehousing Destroy every piece of equipment and then just leave. Make all European govts TERRIFIED of the crazy Americans Destroy the internet as a means of brainwashing the British public
-
Alan Henness (@zeno001) reported@O2 I did that yesterday but got bogged down in setting up a virginmedia/o2 account rabbit hole. It was a nightmare. There are no new notifications there.
