For a communication co @virginmedia aren’t very commutative. Their internet is down AGAIN. 3rd time in 2 weeks. I saw one of their men at a roadside junction box. That’s dangerous they should leave that to the experts. I am seriously thinking of returning to @bt_uk

  • manwithfishhead
Manwithfishhead (@manwithfishhead) reported from Abingdon, England

@virginmedia No I haven't. Even the service status page is down on the website. :( the phone lines tell me you are working on it, which is fabby but would be good to know what the issue is and how serious I suppose. Thanks for coming back to me so quickly though. :)

  • BrianCobbold2

@virginmedia Their understanding of the English Language was so poor, they offered me a discount that was £10 a month more than now. That was without getting any up to date equipment.

  • andyamonty

@virginmedia WiFi is STILL not working... new engineer installed today following a move, and couldn’t make it work. Promised me I’d get a call, but didn’t. I phoned tech support, they promised a call in 4 hours. Guess what THEY DIDNT EITHER.

  • wcbutcher
Bill Butcher (@wcbutcher) reported from Kidlington, England

@virginmedia the system is down in OX5 again. Also how are we expected to report a fault on line if it’s down. This is unacceptable 2nd time in 2days. Will the £50 compensation you offered for the 1st now be increased. It’s NYE so Plse get it sorted.

  • HollySquirrel
Kim Marie Pike (@HollySquirrel) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia My husband has been unable to contact anyone at customer service. It seems our router has an intermittent fault. Please advise ASAP. My husband is a key worker (electricity generation), having a stable internet connection, is essential. 2/2

  • Olski
Olie Bosley (@Olski) reported from Abingdon, England

@virginmedia how embarrassing is it for you that I would rather pay @skytv more per month just to not have to deal with your appalling customer service?

  • a1_nos
A1NOS (@a1_nos) reported from Abingdon, England

@CloopR @virginmedia Just horrid. I had the same problem with Vodafone. In the end the only way I resolved it was a good friend was golfing buddies with the CEO otherwise I don’t think I’d have sorted it.

  • roxanneselby
Roxanne Selby (@roxanneselby) reported from Oxfordshire, England

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Begbroke, England

@virginmedia Yes.. After much back and forth to simply getting teh to acknowledge they had overcharged me for 2 months... But the issue is... You took my money incorrectly but the refund takes a 45 days. This is absolutely despicable. There is no reason for a delay like that

  • inmilla68
Inmita Medina (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia I just want to cancel my contract. You are not a reliable company. You can’t even bother to speak with the customers that pay you.

  • ellejack1824
Andrew Daly (@ellejack1824) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia no reply from your customer services number - I need a broadband engineer visit. How do I arrange this if noone answers the phone !

  • Melyclassy

  • FauntleroyMp
Lord Fauntleroy MP KC (@FauntleroyMp) reported

@Mickskinz @DavidPNoble63 They will enforce it with isp's quite easily. Just fine virgin media if they fail to act on frequent ip address switching

  • ads913
    keith addy (@ads913) reported

@virginmedia 20+ years a loyal customer, paying £128/month. New customers can sign up TODAY for the exact same package — Gig1 broadband, Mega TV, Sky Sports & Cinema — for £76.99/month. That's £51/month MORE for being loyal. Explain that. #VirginMedia #CustomerService

  • ylesine999
    Richard (@ylesine999) reported

Tired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8K_ultra_iptv6 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies

  • Julybird
    Julybird (@Julybird) reported

@y_alibhai @virginmedia Change your internet provider. Or ring their cancellation number and they'll likely push heaven and earth to help you then. If they don't, definitely change. I was with them years ago, absolute rubbish of a service.

  • MisterBeergut
    Jonny (@MisterBeergut) reported

@Kirsty_x85 @virginmedia Many company sales people do this, because they have been told that not knocking is following the cold calling rules. The posting of cards through letterboxes is what most of them do instead. I have the same problem. At least you were not disturbed by the hard sell.

  • Rael571
    Råêl (@Rael571) reported

@SisterWalburga I can see it from the biog. link - but I’m an EE customer rather than Sky or Virgin Media, so maybe it doesn’t count for the purpose of the question…

  • ZDangermouse
    Zoe Is Dangermouse (@ZDangermouse) reported

@virginmedia pathetic service and customer service is non existent… bye 👋

  • SusanChew5
    Susan Chew (@SusanChew5) reported

@gloucesterglass @virginmedia They are possibly the worst company ever, still no engineer a week later, and one of us works from home. You will definitely find better, you can't get any worse.

  • stevied151181
    STEPHEN (@stevied151181) reported

@virginmedia I've just had a lovely chat with Kameer to renew my contract. He was polite, friendly and helpful. Please make sure he's praised for his customer service. 5🌟

  • TheDoctorMagic
    Kevin (@TheDoctorMagic) reported

@virginmedia I'd like help with this: Why do you require customers make themselves available for a delivery from 8am to 6pm when other companies are able to give a 4 hour window? And why do you continue using the incompetent @Yodel_delivery company? My recent delivery finally arrived 8.45PM.
