  @CloopR @virginmedia Just horrid. I had the same problem with Vodafone. In the end the only way I resolved it was a good friend was golfing buddies with the CEO otherwise I don’t think I’d have sorted it.

  @Starlink Exciting times. VIRGIN MEDIA BULLIES NEED KNOCKING DOWN MANY PEGS. MY PREVIOUS CONTRACT STARTED AT £36.. WITHIN 2 YEARS IT ROSE TO £92 FOR A BASIC INTERNET PACKAGE.   @Simon_Whale @virginmedia They’re dodgy as ****, I had total loss of service for over a month, they kept closing my complaints saying it was resolved after I explicitly said not to. They also kept saying it was fixed when it wasn’t to avoid paying compensation.

  @Simon_Whale @virginmedia Would it be worth trying to ring them? I find their customer service people are usually helpful. Use the 0335 454 1111 number, as I used another one in the past and it had really high charges. I ring them every year to stop them putting my direct debit up.
