@virginmedia Thank you - when I run the TV check it says there is an issue. Guess we just need to sit it out. Sadly we appear to be the only ones in the area with an issue (have asked around)

  • AmandaD00131015
Amanda Davies (@AmandaD00131015) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia Still not had the courtesy of a phone call 30 days after making 2 complaints. I would NEVER EVER recommend @virginmedia @libertyglobal. I had a box fitted to my house without my permission & hadn’t ordered

  • IanAShepherd
Ian Shepherd (@IanAShepherd) reported from Oxfordshire, England

So @virginmedia seems to have gone down across the whole country simultaneously. Will be interesting to see what the root cause is.

@virginmedia We need this sorting, as there are 3 of us working from home, involving video meetings. How do we get in touch with you to sort our services out? Our TIVo box is also slow to respond and on-demand isn’t working, due to internet problems. Help. Now. Please.

@virginmedia Finally we did. Took 2 days of texting. Not the best service.

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

@virginmedia @FuzziePieRat Yes.. And how ****** up is it that you treat your existing paying customers so badly they have to attempt to do these hacks to get what you are freely giving away to new customers?

Michelle Wolfenden (@ajthesheepdocto) reported from Grove, England

  • RNeacsu

@virginmedia And yes I called to your outage number, apparently there is no known issue in the area. Even though last night at 11.30pm in the app the status check showed every service is down, even though they weren't down last night. This happens only during working hours.

  • Oxfordwolf
Oxford Wolf /\_/\ 🔶 (@Oxfordwolf) reported from Oxford District, England

@virginmedia I've just received my price rise letter. Utterly extortionate! I will be calling you later to move providers. Your WiFi router is terrible as well. Perhapse my new provider will let me use the Internet more than 6ft away from the router?

  • SmithRodwsmith1
Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia Hi, I got through & they ran some tests & everything was fine(:-) but it was suggested that maybe there is some Network maintenance somewhere & that when it’s completed the Top Green Flashing light on the Router will go back to normal🤞🙏👍

@virginmedia upgrade to 360 has caused no end of issues - slow WiFi, slower TV, losing saved programmes, and customer services very unhelpful. When we suggested complaining they hung up. #virgin #nocustomerservice

@virginmedia @virginmedia I have just DM’d you again because I have just had another three texts from you saying that the issue will now not be fixed until 18 August. Despite the fact that an hour earlier you told me it would be fixed by 4 pm today. This will take us today 23 of zero Internet

Terrible terrible service from @virginmedia today . I’ve finally been able to move with my partner and she has been hit with a £600 disconnection fee as clearly we don’t need two sets of broadband etc . No discussion and no help . Absolutey disgusting ! Thanks

  • kingfayvoor
    Kingfayvoor 💜 (@kingfayvoor) reported

@Morris_Monye And virgin media would even want to compensate you when they have network issues, Infact you will be informed ahead

  • MHartleyJones
    Martin Jones (@MHartleyJones) reported

@virginmedia OK Thanks. A technician will be visiting us tomorrow, though I suspect that the fault is in your exchange switch. My point is that you should keep repairs and sales separate. A customer with a serious phone problem is unlikely to buy extra services at that time.

  • yosagojimbo
    Joe Stanley (@yosagojimbo) reported

Come on, why does my TV and internet keep going off @virginmedia ? Can't get through the 1st episode of reacher without the whole thing going off....why does your service consistently get worse each year?

  • stephenm68
    Stephen Maddock (@stephenm68) reported

@virginmedia We’ve been w/out home broadband (B91) for 16 days. No info why it’s taking so long to fix. Date keeps shifting- for a week it was 5 Aug, then shifted to v specific 12 Aug @ 15:08. Today’s text said engineer here & fixing it. Then went back to 12th. What is going on??

  • WeAreOpenreach
    Openreach (@WeAreOpenreach) reported

@NeilJac74898351 @virginmedia Hi Neil, Virgin install and use their own network separate to the Openreach network, so any information on our website about services you can order wouldn't apply to any Virgin products and vice versa, I'm afraid. If you wish to order FTTP, you'd need to order through a (1/2)
