  • StuPCrook
Stuart Crook (@StuPCrook) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia I’ve called them and got nowhere - it’s a simple request that should be a simple form - not an hour wait in the phone minimum. You don’t publish the number, it isn’t in the help screen and the chat function times out! #useless #poorcustomerservice

  • RobOnABike
Rob H&ynes (@RobOnABike) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@CSmit77 @virginmedia @richardbranson Whereabouts in Oxford are you, Christian? We had a brief outage this morning, and now we've been out again for half an hour.

Amanda Davies (@AmandaD00131015) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia @libertyglobal I refuse to ring again at a charge to myself, I was told a member of yr complaints team would call me. Your customer service is absolutely terrible

Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia I’ve been looking into this problem & the TV is all Connected to my Virginmedia Internet then it suddenly disconnects from the Internet & then this is why it goes back to my TV Homescreen then i go back into settings & wireless network click on this & then it’s returns & works🤪?

  • Fabiaburlesque
Fabia Cerra - Actor/Dancer/Choreographer/Writer (@Fabiaburlesque) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@TheO2 and @virginmedia @BBCWatchdog Be careful of this, they say they will send you a free SIM card. First off, it never arrived. Secondly, they rack up a bill baring in mind I’ve not used it. Then put it on your credit rating. So glad my three year contract ends with o2 soon.

  • Malders
Nick Malden (@Malders) reported from Godstow, England

  • AmandaD00131015
Amanda Davies (@AmandaD00131015) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia Then why did the call handler say 48 hours.? 28 days is unacceptable & no one has contacted me to find out details, so how can they resolve my issue?!?

  • MilesGomme
Miles Gomme (@MilesGomme) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia why did you bother sending out the email about opting out of having your Wi-Fi settings changed, when you go and do it anyway!! I had to reset and turn off all the changes you made! If it isn’t broken don’t fix it!!!

  • movenicely
movenicely (@movenicely) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia the worse customer service I’ve had in a long time. An absolute racket- tv, internet, billing & customer service: all woeful - they allow themselves 28 days to respond to a query & the phone lines are inaccessible - you couldn’t make it up #avoidvirginmedia #crooks

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

You only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

@virginmedia Everyone apologises, but I'm left with paying for a service that I can't use. It seems Virgins's time is more valuable than mine bc I'm threatened with a £25 fine if I miss the appt.. I feel that I'm owed at least some sort of refund for ny inconvenience and loss of service

  • The_Broski_Boot
    AJ (@The_Broski_Boot) reported

@virginmedia we are now over 12 hours into this issue without any meaningful update Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. A prolonged outage without resolution or communication may breach this. Can you please update

@virginmedia Thank you. I look forward to doing so after the current period of 30 days (in which to issue a replacement cheque) has expired and when I will need to renew my attempts at scaling your high security battlements!

  • BryMillan

@entrustTMF @virginmedia That's ludicrous! So an engineer couldn't be bothered to fix the "noise" and just cut you off?
