Even though last night at 11.30pm in the app the status check showed every service is down, even though they weren't down last night. This happens only during working hours.

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Damien Pooley (@damienpooley) reported@virginmedia a few weeks ago I had some broadband issues and was told a new hub would be dispatched to me. I still haven’t received it, and my account says I don’t have any open orders. I tried to contact VM via chat, but (twice) the agents said nothing when connected!
-
Frank Talking 🏴 (@AgnstModFball) reported@Hughesy_B @virginmedia Worst company in the UK
-
Alexander Dumas 🏴 (@Alexand68647317) reported@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt I had a very similar experience with them. They are only interested in new customers and not retaining the ones they already have. I left, pay a fraction of what I used to, and will never do business with them again. Great business model for going bust.
-
James Durrant (@je_durrant) reportedI’ve had it with @virginmedia No service since 10 Jul and it won’t be fixed until 17 Aug. They can’t give me a 5G modem despite being joined with O2 and say I should be happy with the £10 p/d Ofcom comp; that doesn’t help me do work. £800 to cancel my contract, it’s a racket
-
Robby Yung ⦿⦿⦿ (@viewfromhk) reported@0xsachi I think "moat" is just a polite way of saying monopoly. First mover advantage builds a brand and customer stickiness, and I think this should be the goal, personally. But all these anti-competitive practices like making cancelling services ridiculously hard (hello @virginmedia ) or walling the garden once you get enough users (hello @facebook Open Graph) should be cracked down on, in my opinion.
-
Chris Love (@chrislove_89) reported@virginmedia 4x since I’ve moved across from BT, the service has been completely down in my area, this in space of just a few months. This has affected exam revision, kids bedtime routines, among other things. Terrible, pathetic service and can’t wait until my contract expires!
-
Richard Bignell (@NothingLane) reported@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Nope, but much the same story. Dumped useless Virgin years ago. Now with @zeninternet. Once you start a contract, the price NEVER increases. They're a UK company, so absolutely no overseas call centres and the tech service has been first class.
-
Nick S. (nickncs) (@nickncs_cP) reported@virginmedia something is wrong with your internet network. maybe DNS server issue? some sites down on all devices but able to reach them if using a vpn.
-
Jamaal (@Jamaal162) reported@jonoread @ajzxne They knew owned and run by the same company.. virgin media 02… literally just a subsidiary branded to capture a different market ie the ones who are smart enough to not pay 3 to 4x the amount for the same service
-
Berk (@trapdoor456) reported@virginmedia @RicardoEyes Maybe show decent customer service when you are contacted about issues initially, not just when people have had enough & leave 🤷
