@CloopR @virginmedia Just horrid. I had the same problem with Vodafone. In the end the only way I resolved it was a good friend was golfing buddies with the CEO otherwise I don’t think I’d have sorted it.

  • andyamonty
Andy Montgomery (@andyamonty) reported from Wantage, England

@virginmedia WiFi is STILL not working... new engineer installed today following a move, and couldn’t make it work. Promised me I’d get a call, but didn’t. I phoned tech support, they promised a call in 4 hours. Guess what THEY DIDNT EITHER.

@virginmedia upgrade to 360 has caused no end of issues - slow WiFi, slower TV, losing saved programmes, and customer services very unhelpful. When we suggested complaining they hung up. #virgin #nocustomerservice

Nick Malden (@Malders) reported from Godstow, England

@virginmedia Yes the internet has been down all day in Ox2 8pg. I rely on it for work!

  • Olski
Olie Bosley (@Olski) reported from Abingdon, England

@virginmedia how embarrassing is it for you that I would rather pay @skytv more per month just to not have to deal with your appalling customer service?

  • travellingbex
Bex Allen (@travellingbex) reported from Oxfordshire, England

4yrs with @virginmedia never had a problem. But now that I do their 'customer service' sucks, endless cycles of talking to bots on their website, or being on hold for hours on the phone! 3 days of this just trying to get the Internet I'm paying for! #frustrated #virginmedia

  • inmilla68
Inmita Medina (@inmilla68) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia You apologize??? Really??? In the middle of a pandemic , I am a key worker and had to work from home today band I have missed all the meetings. I wish I could cancel my contract and had nothing to do with Virgin ever again!

  • gill_haley33
Gillian Haley (@gill_haley33) reported from Witney, England

@virginmedia It seems a little expensive and I was hoping for a reduction as being a pensioner and a customer of Virgin long before it was Virgin, namely. Comtel back.on the day.

  • wcbutcher

Why does @virginmedia keep going down in the OX5 area. This is the 4th time since Christmas. Furthermore you can’t get through to anyone to discuss it.

@virginmedia Yes, it says no issues, but plainly this is not the case. TERRIBLE today and yesterday.

  • a1_nos
A1NOS (@a1_nos) reported from Abingdon, England

@CloopR @virginmedia Also had a huge issue with Together Energy who owed me £500 and wouldn’t pay it. Eventually contacted finance lady at Daily Mail who contacted them and I got my money. Will dig her details out if I can. She was very helpful.

  • HollySquirrel
Kim Marie Pike (@HollySquirrel) reported from Didcot, England

@virginmedia My husband has been unable to contact anyone at customer service. It seems our router has an intermittent fault. Please advise ASAP. My husband is a key worker (electricity generation), having a stable internet connection, is essential. 2/2

  • Miss_JRO85
    Jenny Roberts (@Miss_JRO85) reported

@virginmedia This would have been useful to know but I wasn’t told this by any of the 4 agents I spoke to. An engineer called me to explain he had fixed the issue - a rusty screw stopping the connection for 8 houses. He was super helpful. Shame no one on the phone could be clear and helpful.

  • ndbchnn
    ndbchnn (@ndbchnn) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia can you please update me on the service in m30 - it’s been 48 hours no wifi, heating or television.

  • FyldesHardest
    Kris Coates (@FyldesHardest) reported

@virginmedia please train your staff to do their job and not waste two hours of my time messaging three agents only for them not to resolve an issue. I just want to cancel, it's that simple.

  • Baggladee
    Margot (@Baggladee) reported

    @virginmedia @mobily_uk Agree, it’s so stupid, wasting everyone’s time!

  • LJHolden1986
    Leighton J Holden (@LJHolden1986) reported

@virginmedia I need some help. I have had an O2 SIM card tagged onto my WiFi account. I never wanted this but I was told that I could just throw this away and not use it. I am now being charged £7.50 per month for absolutely nothing. Can you please advise on how I deal with this?

  • nottinghillman
    Nottinghill Man (@nottinghillman) reported

@virginmedia I think this has been reported now but our WiFi at W2 4TJ went down on Wednesday evening. A call out engineer the next the next morning merely confirmed that the problem is apparently on the street, not in our house as the engineer apparently thought initially. But no repair yet

  • Redveee
    Shaun Todd (@Redveee) reported

@mobily_uk @virginmedia I renewed recently with a few clicks online cause I had to replace my Tivo box for a TV 360 box. I was out of contract and paid £104 for 2 months, new bill for same service is now £64, less than what I was paying in contract. After 12 months it goes up to £69.

  • StuPlaysXD
Stu Plays XD 🎮 (@StuPlaysXD) reported

@virginmedia honestly hindsight is great because if I had just waited I wouldn’t of gone with yourself as a provider. £90 a month for constant drops in internet / tv. Your stream box is useless. Massive thumbs down 👎 would not recommend. Should of just renewed with @skytv 👍

  • KrKoKiKhKeKy1
    Heidi Service (@KrKoKiKhKeKy1) reported

@virginmedia Ive just had my new bill through £102.34, I've had the same box and internet for years no add ons and my bill is going up and up, I need to cancel my box but keep the internet. If you can't, i will find somewhere else.
