Bex Allen (@travellingbex) reported from Oxfordshire, England

4yrs with @virginmedia never had a problem. But now that I do their 'customer service' sucks, endless cycles of talking to bots on their website, or being on hold for hours on the phone! 3 days of this just trying to get the Internet I'm paying for! #frustrated #virginmedia

  • AmandaD00131015
Amanda Davies (@AmandaD00131015) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@virginmedia Still not had the courtesy of a phone call 30 days after making 2 complaints. I would NEVER EVER recommend @virginmedia @libertyglobal. I had a box fitted to my house without my permission & hadn’t ordered

  • KatieFellows1
Katharine Fellows (@KatieFellows1) reported from Oxfordshire, England

  • Oxfordwolf
Oxford Wolf /\_/\ 🔶 (@Oxfordwolf) reported from Oxford District, England

@virginmedia I've just received my price rise letter. Utterly extortionate! I will be calling you later to move providers. Your WiFi router is terrible as well. Perhapse my new provider will let me use the Internet more than 6ft away from the router?

  • SmithRodwsmith1
Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia I’ve been looking into this problem & the TV is all Connected to my Virginmedia Internet then it suddenly disconnects from the Internet & then this is why it goes back to my TV Homescreen then i go back into settings & wireless network click on this & then it’s returns & works🤪?

  • manwithfishhead

@MarkRover @virginmedia Nightmare, normally get good comms when things are down but I have nothing to go on.

  • a1_nos
A1NOS (@a1_nos) reported from Abingdon, England

@CloopR @virginmedia Just horrid. I had the same problem with Vodafone. In the end the only way I resolved it was a good friend was golfing buddies with the CEO otherwise I don’t think I’d have sorted it.

  • SmithRodwsmith1
Rodney Smith (@SmithRodwsmith1) reported from Cumnor, England

@virginmedia Hi, I got through & they ran some tests & everything was fine(:-) but it was suggested that maybe there is some Network maintenance somewhere & that when it’s completed the Top Green Flashing light on the Router will go back to normal🤞🙏👍

  • Wendywirdz
Wendy (@Wendywirdz) reported from Abingdon, England

  • pepetideo
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England

You only know how sitty a service provider relly is when something goes wrong. Was with @virginmedia for over 5 years. Now that i decided to leave they have charged me for 2 months with me already with another provider. After complaining they take 2 months to refund you and now that i sent them their router they somehow misplaced it and charged me 40 quid saying i didnt send it (even thought i had a call last week where i gave them the receipt) If you are their customer.. Get out as soon as possible and remember to block the direct debits. They cannot be trusted with your money.

  • poolshark1972

@virginmedia Mobile. They re-set the account and told me I had to wait an hour before I could try again. When I asked why I was treated like I was stupid.

@virginmedia - But you can do this in the app. Download app. Login. Accept renewal offer. - Am told new contract has been sent to an email address I removed from my account ~1 year ago. - Return to "my Account" in app. Still says my account is due for renewal

  • Rahul_Kotecha
    RK8 (@Rahul_Kotecha) reported

@virginmedia on chat with you for nearly two hours and have still not got seen what your "best price" is. Shocking customer service

  • lifeisnuts123
    Maureen (@lifeisnuts123) reported

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Been with 4 providers so far inc Virgin and all been terrible when it comes to sorting problems. Pot luck I think. Can't wait to get away from the one I'm with now when the contract runs out.

  • Rp61Robson
    Robson Ramalho (@Rp61Robson) reported

Tired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8k_World_Iptv14 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies

  • Fletchmyster85
    Adam Fletcher (@Fletchmyster85) reported

@virginmedia 3-4 weeks now I've had issues with my broadband and TV. Tried calling but have to drop off because I don't have 30+ mins to wait. Start chats, after the long AI process I sit waiting for a person. Leave chat 30+ mins. Fill out complaints asking for a call from you...

  • trapdoor456
    Berk (@trapdoor456) reported

@virginmedia @RicardoEyes Maybe show decent customer service when you are contacted about issues initially, not just when people have had enough & leave 🤷

  • _J_8_7_
    British and annoyed (@_J_8_7_) reported

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Definately going to look into them now. Worst part about Virgin is the inconsistent price rises as soon as the contract is up. Had to leave them and join as a new customer pretty much every year just to nearly half the monthly payment. ******* ridiculous.

  • Quinny1808
    Ken Quinn (@Quinny1808) reported

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia I have had You Fibre for 2 1/2 years and had no issues

  • xSpeak_Eazy
    xSpeakEazy (@xSpeak_Eazy) reported

    @DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt Damn I'm paying £63 for 1gig from VM.

  • NothingLane
    Richard Bignell (@NothingLane) reported

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Nope, but much the same story. Dumped useless Virgin years ago. Now with @zeninternet. Once you start a contract, the price NEVER increases. They're a UK company, so absolutely no overseas call centres and the tech service has been first class.
