@virginmedia the worse customer service I’ve had in a long time. An absolute racket- tv, internet, billing & customer service: all woeful - they allow themselves 28 days to respond to a query & the phone lines are inaccessible - you couldn’t make it up #avoidvirginmedia #crooks

  • manwithfishhead Manwithfishhead (@manwithfishhead) reported from Abingdon, England

  • diddywatts Chris Watts (@diddywatts) reported from Witney, England

@virginmedia It was changed by your team trying to compete with sky but could not match the like for like with sky so asked to be left as was till my notice period was up. Virgin have made this a very difficult transition and treated a loyal customer with utter contempt

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • seellis11 Sarah Ellis (@seellis11) reported

@virginmedia Wireless. Ethernet connections working fine. Wireless speed fine when connected. Drops out regularly. Sometimes for seconds, other times longer. Losing connection during lessons & mtgs. Was also happening when just myself and two devices in house so not too many devices problem.

  • Daniel_Bevis Daniel_Bevis 🌈 (@Daniel_Bevis) reported

@AndyCarolan @virginmedia I feel that way [about the price hike] with Netflix next month. Never hear anything but moaning about VM in my local FB groups, and my family always had similar issues too when they were with them.

  • so93427143 so (@so93427143) reported

@virginmedia The internet has been playing up since last night. I work from home and am losing money by waiting for it. I have restarted the router multiple times, the online service status is saying nothing is wrong but clearly that is false. Any idea when it will be working?

  • lizzydrip91 Anne-Marie Lees (@lizzydrip91) reported

@virginmedia I need an update on this. We're thinking of leaving you anyways as the WiFi never works (see my many tweets) and the TV is forever crashing. Why should we pay for goods we're not receiving to the high quality you promise?

  • baz_nicholls Andy Nicholls (@baz_nicholls) reported

@virginmedia Didn’t watch it. Gave up and went to bed. Tried re-watching the pre-lims this morning and they’re unwatchable. Breaking up, cutting out. Found out who won before I had a chance to watch it. #virginmedia service ruined #UFC257 for me. So I’ll still be seeing you for that refund.

  • seellis11 Sarah Ellis (@seellis11) reported

@fhplovedollface @virginmedia Same issue here. Made formal complaint in Nov - still unresolved. Intermittent broadband since install in September. Shocking customer service. Still haven’t had a call from a manager. Daughter Yr11 doing GCSE lessons online, we’re key workers working from home. Not good enough.

@virginmedia wow another night of pixelating tv, made even more infuriating by Virgin ads extolling how good the service is

  • beano438 DJB (@beano438) reported

Poor @skytv . Contract up for renewal, been a tv, talk & bband customer for 7 years. Your app offers renewal for tv at £67. Spoke to one of your agents to reduce who then offers the same for £101 and can’t get lower. Poor during these times. @virginmedia offering more for less
