@Ciaransworld @Roaster323 @virginmedia Yep that’s what I’ve got in the office as I’ve got a separate WiFi network in here set-up. It’s not the WiFi strength more the lack of phone signal I get in here!

  • SToolis Steve (@SToolis) reported from Bristol, England

    Been down for around 24hrs now #virginmediadown #virginmedia #virginbroadband

  • Rita_magalhaes1 Rita Magalhaes (@Rita_magalhaes1) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia I have now attempted to contact twice about cancelling my contract, as I am moving out of my student house this month. Can I please get some aid with this, as i cannot get through to the call centre, nor find the correct email for customer services.

  • SToolis Steve (@SToolis) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia internet down all day, again, here in Bristol. 🤬 Absolute joke considering how much we pay each month. Please acknowledge and accept some responsibility! #virginmediadown #virginmedia #virginbroadband

  • DodgeyDog DodgeyDog (@DodgeyDog) reported from Clevedon, England

@virginmedia Thanks! But it’s really not just me - there must be others - at this difficult time - who will be having to pay more for just the same service!

  • DodgeyDog DodgeyDog (@DodgeyDog) reported from Clevedon, England

@TomMockridgeVM. @Virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph. Despite trying to get information - after 24 hours, I have got nowhere trying to discover why my bill of £34 will rise to £64 next month! No extra service or work required!

  • LeoNak84 Leo Nakhimoff (@LeoNak84) reported from Bristol, England

In the same month @virginmedia bill has doubled, the reliability has quartered. Internet at home is essentially useless & the WiFi router a clunky decoration! 2020, in a big city, and searching on Google is slower than an old dial-up modem. Usual awful customer service.

  • dangerous_85 Dave (@dangerous_85) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia sooo would be nice if the service yiu are providing didnt keep cutting out while I am trying to work. Sort it out ffs!!!

  • SToolis Steve (@SToolis) reported from Bristol, England

@UKxSnipERxUK @virginmedia I've had this problem again for the past 24hrs. Service status claims all well, however I've got no broadband service, absolute joke, just no very bloody funny 🤬

  • LeoNak84 Leo Nakhimoff (@LeoNak84) reported from Bristol, England

@Seanie08 @virginmedia My speed this morning was 14mbps. Supposed to 108mbps average. They told me too many devices connected, so I turned off phone to 4g, turned off iPad and disconnect Amazon Alexa. Nothing else connected. Speed went up to 18mbps 🤣 ‘We are showing a good service!’ ByeBye.....

  • Allypally52 Alison Newnham (@Allypally52) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia suddenly unable to log into virgin on phone, my Mac, husband’s PC so unable to access emails. Won’t recognise password, security question etc or allow me to change. Please help!

  • DodgeyDog DodgeyDog (@DodgeyDog) reported from Clevedon, England

@virginmedia #virginmedia #virginbroadband #stayconnected. I am still a customer at the moment - however, despite txts to a number given to me - at 9:30am - no one has got back to me! Very disappointed

  • tuwituwo Niall (@tuwituwo) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia please help! I’ve been trying all afternoon to resolve an issue with my new order. The online chat goes through to departments with no one in. On the phone call the person hung up on me when I asked for more help. Now on hold again for 50 min

  • SToolis Steve (@SToolis) reported from Bristol, England

@virginmedia Your service is telling me there is a TV fault but no broadband issue, which is complete rubbish. We've been without broadband all day 🤬 #virginmedia #virginbroadband #virginmediadown

  • DodgeyDog DodgeyDog (@DodgeyDog) reported from Clevedon, England

@Virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph. Despite trying to get information - after 24 hours, I have got nowhere trying to discover why my bill of £34 will rise to £64 next month! No extra service or work required!

  • AyrtekCricket Ayrtek Cricket (@AyrtekCricket) reported from Bristol, England

@Roaster323 @virginmedia FaceTime and WhatsApp are over 4G or WiFi anyway. This is for normal calls/texts when you don’t have any signal. I built my office with insulated floors/roof/walls which means it’s terrible for signal due to foil used on the insulation so at least this will resolve that issue

  • Ornsack Dave Brain 🧠 (@Ornsack) reported from Bristol, England

I can deal with Virgin Media being down but it appears O2 is down too so I can’t save the day by flicking to 4G. Having to resort to watching NORMAL TELEVISION like the old days.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • darklamba darklamba (@darklamba) reported

@virginmedia Again, multiple connection problems with your broadband over the weekend and today. Its now completely gone and I have an online assessment this afternoon! And before the token reply, yes I have checked the connections and yes I have reset the hub multiple.

  • AndyHiggs1 Porrohman (@AndyHiggs1) reported from Huddersfield, England

@sky_support We have the full Sky Sports package on our Virgin Media box. How much would the cost come down by us getting rid of the F1 channel as I prefer watching paint dry. If it's worth it the golf one could go the same way as I only watch the football and cricket ? Ta

  • AdaRoseCannon Ada Rose Cannon (@AdaRoseCannon) reported

@virginmedia That was another bot, who couldn't help me with no human operators, the phone number that bot gave did not work and hangs up immediately, please how can I speak with a human

  • baggyjumpas L (@baggyjumpas) reported

@virginmedia From speaking to other people I know Virgin have done this previously - disconnect existing customers & give temp tel no then hassle for customer to get proper number back.

  • baggyjumpas L (@baggyjumpas) reported

@virginmedia Yrs ago - yes. But she has been with Virgin for few yrs. Virgin disconnected her. Virgin issued the temp no. I know that we don't need an engineer to come out. You just need to restore the correct tel no. Virgin tel customer service is extremely poor for residential customers.

  • earlofmarl Nick P (@earlofmarl) reported

@virginmedia Of course I have checked. You app says there is no problem at my address but Internet forums says you are having multiple issues in this area and all over the country.

  • AdaRoseCannon Ada Rose Cannon (@AdaRoseCannon) reported

Did @virginmedia fire all of their support staff? It's literally impossible to speak to a real human anywhere and anytime it says it'll connect you to one it just hangs up instead after spending ages dealing with a machine.

  • KIC_Social Keep It Creative (@KIC_Social) reported

@virginmedia @Ofcom Please don't apologise. I've had nothing but apologies and wrong bills for months. Instead do something about the systemic failures in your company's customer service. I'm never going to get the time back that I've wasted haggling in order to get the contract that was agreed.

  • DGNMoore Dominique Moore (@DGNMoore) reported

@virginmedia 4 calls cut off mid call no phone back ver frusT to solve a problem of your making we arein 21st . C With sophisticated technology how can REPEATEDLY mislocate someone? @virginmedia to sole problel of its own making @WhichUK #youandyours

  • MarcMcNulty13 MarcMan (@MarcMcNulty13) reported

@virginmedia No, it was not resolved at all, I ended up paying to have the phone fixed myself, I explained this to your team and they gave me €20 off the next bill, better than nothing I suppose, I wont be using Virgin Media again for a mobile phone service once this contract expires, thanks
