@virginmedia Basically cut a long story I did agree a deal however it appears despite me asking for confirmation and then saying yes they put through the wrong one ,I chatted again this morning and basically told no you can’t ,it was literally like the new customer deal with a minor variation

@virginmedia Received the adapter and finally have a working phone line. Shame it took 3 weeks to get to the bottom of the issue. Disappointed that I was told porting number was able to be done by several staff and that they submitted a form to request it, but at least phone is working now

@virginmedia The outcome was that after over TWENTY minutes they refused to deal with it unless I gave them an account number. And the box is still wide open for people to rip the cables out of. Because the 'customer service' number is a joke.
