Emily Rooke (@emroo21) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
@virginmedia Hi, is there an outage in the Nottingham area? My internet is down and the status checker on your website doesn’t seem to be working for me either. Thanks!
-
Emily Rooke (@emroo21) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
@virginmedia Thank you. There are no problems in the area but my internet isn’t working. Have checked cables and rebooted several times.
-
Erin McDaid (@EmcdNotts) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
@virginmedia Thanks - will do if it persists but it would be so much easier to have live help or an email link rather than focusing on pushing the 'community' to help ourselves.
-
Erin McDaid (@EmcdNotts) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
@virginmedia Going round in circles using 'support' options listed on App. Our broadband has been intermittent since yesterday afternoon. Restarted hub 3 times. Test still showing intermittent fault. Why do you make it so difficult to contact someone to check it's being sorted?
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia Yes. I never seem to get anywhere with that. That's why I called.
-
AntonioAsh (@AntonioAsh89) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
@falsesymmetry @virginmedia They have great internet speeds but unfortunately their customer service is terrible! The only reason I’m with them is because of the internet otherwise I would have selected other provider.
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia So what your saying is your doing the minimum required by the regulator, and failing your vulnerable customers. As previously stated VM will be mentioned in courts when people are pressing their emergency assist numbers and get a VM message saying their call can’t be connected!
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia The only response is they have given up and will let me out of my contract early. Not a great response for a customer of well over 20 years
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia I’m still getting Mail saying it needs updating, but more importantly installers and CS need to ensure they’re installed correctly and why they’re needed. It’s not just for 999. 999 can take hours to attend Jane down the street can be here in minutes.
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia The biggest problem is you do t know how they work, installers don’t know how to check they work and more importantly no one seems to understand why they’re NEEDED! They will be why someone dies and Virgin WILL be named in the courts at a guilty party!
-
Lencal (@Lencal03) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
@virginmedia Says no issues
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia I've had it with your Internet. WiFi is atrocious. Disconnected and stored away. Getting sky tomorrow. Can't cancel virgin as in contract. Even had a new router...
-
Micky Richards (@mickyrichards27) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia can someone DM me about a complaint.about moving home and not able to get services for a while even though I was told I could
-
I NeedADream-Z2Choir (@castusthered) reported from Nottinghamshire, England
If you’ve suffered through @virginmedia **** customer service by telephone just wait until you get onto this new WhatsApp method of dealing with issues. Some evil villains definitely sat stroking a cat laughing at this one
-
MyMinxy (@my_minxy) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia Engineer came Friday, still no service on the phone for 10 hrs to 18 people Saturday, you closed my complaint with £10 credit that I never agreed to, yet still no service waiting for another engineer… my complaint IS NOT RESOLVED @virginmedia
-
MyMinxy (@my_minxy) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia on the phone now for 3rd time as get cut off, no internet and NO HELP, it’s been over 24hrs now, I need the internet
-
David Bennington (@therealbenno) reported from Grantham, England
@virginmedia please help. We have an engineer booked for Monday. How do I cancel it as I've spent 20 mins on the phone pressing buttons and getting no where
-
Davith (@Davith03257086) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia any chance of you sorting out the broadband issue in and around Lincoln. It's been going on for a couple of hours
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Lincoln District, England
@virginmedia That’s not true that why they now allow calls to other urgent services for priority vulnerable customers such as gas, water electric police and medical urgent but not emergency numbers the trouble is this doesn’t allow calls to hone help and life lines though they should!
-
Richard Farrell (@RichardFarrell8) reported from Carlton on Trent, England
Looking for advice. Trying to cancel @virginmedia as they keep saying I owe them £168 but they should have credited me £70 but they have debited me instead. Made several calls over the past weeks to no joy. Logged a formal complaint to no avail. Advice is much appreciated 🤯
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Iain Montgomery (@H0raceWimp) reported
@virginmedia I am a customer of both. You cannot increase my 1Gb broadband. To increase my O2 data I have to take out a new contract which will cost me extra money and remove my existing number and much more important benefits.
-
Delta (@DeltaS177) reported
@virginmedia That number is invalid. Look, the number your team member gave earlier just has a vague automation saying there is an issue. The service has been down all day. The website needs updated for the BT487 area, the fix in the screenahot above did not happen.
-
Steve (@Swabsy1810) reported
@virginmedia since my free upgrade for having Virgin and O2 (Volt) my Virgin Broadband has never tested over my original 200mbps consistently, Iyn fact I’ve never had to reboot so often. "What Volt giveth, Virgin taketh away"
-
Twobinz (@TwoBinzGaming) reported
@virginmedia Apprently no issues in the area. A reset was completed on my router but my speed is less than 10mb which is over 190mb slower than it should be
-
jimmy (@jimmysteamboat) reported
@virginmedia Hey, i spoke to your help team. They just blamed the ridiculously low speeds on the type of house. I'm getting a 3.5 Mbps speed on a wired connection! Why advertise the service if it's not suitable for the property at all? I'm in a new build right centre of Manchester!
-
Dave Swanton(Swanny) (@SwannyMediaMan) reported
@virginmedia But it happens every day!!!!! So your corporate cut and paste is bull💩. Why not sort the problem once and for all rather than a sticking plaster mend which fails everyday. The contract we have is nearing renewal and guess what……..
-
Deano Nino 🐾 🏳️🌈 (@deanbegley1) reported
@virginmedia My husband is busy being spoken like a piece of dirt by one of your call handlers. He's a nurse that has been working since 7am. I'm using my phone to post this, we pay virgin over £100 a month and have done for years, shocking service
-
Keeley♡🏴🇬🇧🇲🇹 (@Keeleyeveline_) reported
Is anyone else's #VirginMedia WiFi down or is just mine?
-
Iain Montgomery (@H0raceWimp) reported
@virginmedia I've looked. There aren't any. And the problems I have with my O2 account are apparently your fault. Because they claim when I called 202 from an O2 mobile, they want me to believe I was put through to Virgin Media.
-
KirstenA (@KirstenClareA) reported
@virginmedia What does this even mean? Thanks for getting "back" in touch? We are not old friends. I am forced to do it this way as was not called back on Friday & my "dedicated complaint numbered email" has yet again been ignored. After a year of trying. I don't have FREE TV.
