@virginmedia I'm thinking about switching from Sky to Virgin broadband and I'm an O2 customer. What would happen if I moved house from a Virgin area to a non Virgin Media area regarding the contract?
-
PitlanesSimRacing
(@PitLanes) reported
So Virgin media repeatedly telling me there is no issue with my internet. Ive just spent money I dont really have on a router to remove their hardware from the situation. I'm sick of the drop outs on what's meant to be their top package.

(@Lorna_TVeditor) reported
@virginmedia After promising, and failing, to do a like for like replacement for days and days and days, they finally told me today that they couldn't replace the boxes. Absolutely terrible service. Shoddy beyond belief. I've had cable since 1997 so I've no choice but to leave Virgin.

@virginmedia Busier than usual is short hand for “we cut our staff during CoVid and our employee proposition is so naff we can’t recruit or retain staff and ergo our service is rubbish” #MoreReasonsToSwitch

@virginmedia I got cut off after over an hour waiting yesterday and then again so I’m not going to put myself through that again - what’s the solution ? You tell me. Can’t get through on phone or what’s app , seems convenient that it’s easy to join but impossible to leave!
-
Carrie Foster
(@carrifost) reported
@virginmedia There’s a difference between “not always instant” and waiting six hours and still not getting my issue resolved. Well seeing as I’m out of contract and you are not interested I’ll just change supplier.
-
Sarah-J
(@SarahJo34532624) reported
@virginmedia is there a get out clause for your constant failure of service? Contract runs to November but your service is off more times than it is on at the moment. You tend to fix just before the 48hr period also which is not surprising.
-
The Obtuse Muse
(@rudyobrien21) reported
@sixfor2 @OmazeUK I looked into it 'cause I am curious. CTax: Band H - £4,217.78 = £421 @ 10 months Water Rate: avg home: £470 - 490 per year = avg. £40pm Virgin Media £20/m, 54Mbps. If Omaze gives you £50K to move in = £2,000 pm for 26 months. If anyone cannot live there, they have money issues
-
Liam
(@Liam3617) reported
@virginmedia customer service... What a joke? Been intermittently talking to someone for 10 hours who then dissapears for lunch! All to change a package to save money! Bet they wouldn't be this slow if I was giving them more money!
