    I’ve been spending the last week or so sorting out internet at my girlfriends place with @VodafoneUK and although their customer support are great, their website/ customer portal seemingly can’t stop crashing. For a ‘leader’ in British telecoms, their web presence is shocking.

    I was also told I would be called back at an allotted time after waiting for 2 hours on hold for only to never get a call back. But Jacob @VodafoneUK customer support was very helpful. It’s either one extreme or the other with my experience. Hopefully we won’t have any issues...

    @VodafoneUK Home broadband.. Ticket raised... But like very dark tunnel not sure what's happening or when it's getting closed. Not the kind of service i was expecting when I joined. I was lured by the 900 mbps but have to settle with 10 mbps.. Mobile dongle

    @Ed_UKation @VodafoneUK It’s the one supported by Openreach alas. Their customer service is abysmal indeed. Everything just reports as fine but it’s essentially unusable a lot of the time. Like swimming through treacle getting anywhere with them. Baby steps. I know they’re all pretty pants sometimes.

    @VodafoneUK hi was on the phone for 2 hours yesterday & 40mins today. Household has covid so had to reschedule install as a new broadband customer. Couldn't resolve issue of starting contract on install date. Awful customer service.

    @xeepo @VodafoneUK Oh Vodafone broadband. Is it the traditional broadband via Openreach infrastructure, or the new Vodafone Gigafast? I hear that Vodafone still have dubious customer service, but so do most of the competition. I've had major customer service problems with both Talktalk and Virgin.

    @VodafoneUK @Gcl101 @Fentoon James, George is correct, and you’re not listening. I get 4G everywhere with 4 or 5 bars, but it doesn’t work. Never does and has been going on for months. I’m off to EE when my contract ends soon.

    @xeepo @VodafoneUK Is it lack of signal.... Or decent signal but it doesn't work.. Or something else? It's often useful to test a prepaid SIM on a couple of other networks for a short while before entering into any contracts. Easy to pick up prepaid SIMs in the supermarket. Cont.

    Broadband reconnected last night, exactly one week after it was disconnected. Thanks @VodafoneUK and @WeAreOpenreach but it would be nice if you had a communication policy for these events that was more than just “we are aware of the problem but will not tell you anymore.”
