  • AndrewPriestley

@VodafoneUK I get constant dropped calls from Comoros and Botswana. I report these by text but still the same numbers keep calling. I’ve tried to phone but your IVR system won’t let me speak to a person. Very unhappy about the fact I can’t talk to someone about this. Please help.

  • CharRWinstone
Charlotte Winstone (@CharRWinstone) reported from Tottenham, England

@VodafoneUK the connection in my flat is so bad that I have had to turn the WiFi off on my phone to even type this and I am sat RIGHT next to the router. helpppppppp.

  • tashason21
Tasha Son (@tashason21) reported from Barnet, England

@VodafoneUK please can you look at my DM - been in Spain, account cut off - received texts saying big roaming charges and can’t even access my account as your site is down for maintenance

  • J0nnyDickinson
Johnathan Dickinson (@J0nnyDickinson) reported from Barnet, England

@VodafoneUK the Mobi chat service is terrible. Why does almost every option on your phone line end in suggesting Mobi and then hanging up?! The only way to speak to someone is to say I'm cancelling my contact!

  • adkay1
Adam Kay (@adkay1) reported from Barnet, England

Kudos to @VodafoneUK for their new customer service strategy: you can’t cancel if we keep you on hold #genius #wastedsundays

  • Clarko2000
Paul Clarke (@Clarko2000) reported from Welwyn, England

If we only learn one thing from lockdown it’s how awful the UK broadband network is. Rare to see an interview on TV or do an online meeting without some sort of glitch or hang-up! @bt_uk @TalkTalk @virginmedia @VodafoneUK @SkyUK (top 5 UK providers)

  • BrighterCharlie
Charlie Johnson (@BrighterCharlie) reported from Barnet, England

@VodafoneUK worst customer experience of any biz I’ve ever dealt with. Accused me of lying, sent me in-store for no reason, data breaches, hours lost trying to transfer ownership, mis-selling, awful complaint handling. Can’t wait for our biz contracts to expire. Appalling. (End.)

  • J0nnyDickinson
Johnathan Dickinson (@J0nnyDickinson) reported from Barnet, England

@VodafoneUK Tobi is in no way helpful, and does not handle calls only text chat. It's ridiculous most call options refer to Tobi and hang up. I had to choose the option to cancel my contract just to speak to a real person about a screw up on Vodafone's end.

  • thfcmojo
Spursmojo (@thfcmojo) reported from Hoddesdon, England

Disappointed in @VodafoneGroup @VodafoneUK for making the choice to increase my plan.guy I spoke to had obviously had lots of calls complaining poor bloke, suffice to say I wont be continuing after this contract is over. Sure others will do the same. #timeandplace

  • Hols_79
sןoH 🙃 (@Hols_79) reported from Abridge, England

@Tractorgirl @TalkTalk @VodafoneUK My internet is so slow that when I video call a group of friends I'm unable to join in. They can't hear me and my screen keeps freezing, I can only communicate by typing in chat whilst watching them chat away to each other. I live alone, internet is so important for me to connect

  • Hols_79
sןoH 🙃 (@Hols_79) reported from Abridge, England

@Tractorgirl @TalkTalk @VodafoneUK If that happens I'll just cancel my dd and accept a number change. I don't understand how one of the biggest broadband companies don't have the technology to move their staff to home working and continue operating.

  • Hols_79
sןoH 🙃 (@Hols_79) reported from Abridge, England

@Tractorgirl @TalkTalk It's crazy, their message is that they're not running those services because of covid which suggests they haven't managed to make the move to working from home. I would've just upgraded with them but instead I'm moving to @VodafoneUK who've been great and will cancel TT for me.

  • superstarcomms
Susan Heaton Wright (@superstarcomms) reported from Welwyn Garden City, England

@VodafoneUK Thank you so much. Mum has even worked out how to fix the SIM card in!

  • mediamacaque
robert cole (@mediamacaque) reported from Barnet, England

Anyone else have trouble with @ring service? 3 have so far failed through crap batteries. Rip-off @VodafoneUK charged me £45 to talk to a #Ring operator as they don't take complaints by email or chat, just telephone. The latest replacement has not arrived but how to complain?

  • tashason21
Tasha Son (@tashason21) reported from Barnet, England

@VodafoneUK @VodafoneUK please can you look at my DM - been in Spain, account cut off - received texts saying big roaming charges despite ‘free roaming’ and can’t even access my account to see the damage as your site is down for maintenance

  • Buffstar
    Buffy (@Buffstar) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It doesn't stop big companies treating people like crap when a loved one dies but if you're able to get a pak code, get a free/cheap payg sim, register it and use the pak code to swap the number the contract will end!

  • NancyinRome
    Nancy McNally (@NancyinRome) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK All I have to say is, Vodafone Italy is probably just as bad. I had to cancel all my automatic payments with them, as every month I got bills of 200+ Euro for Internet and mobiles that had a 'fixed fee' of about 24 Euro. My sincerest condolences and take care of your dear Dad.

  • apgloria
    adrian warren (@apgloria) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Try leaving BT Sport, I had a full blown row with a very aggressive idiot on the other end of the line, I will never go near them again

  • HighburyHawk
    Adam (@HighburyHawk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are liars. I used to get such weak signal where I lived, and for 8 months all they said was this is a temporary issue in the area that’s being addressed. Switched to EE & never looked back.

  • missisbee
    fiona brown (@missisbee) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Seems to be a problem with other phone providers too. Months after we sent my dad’s death certificate etc phone company threatened my mum with debt collectors and kept asking to speak to my dad! Only got sorted when we threatened them with going to the regulator.

  • 1ECBW

@VodafoneUK @abrighterbeat That is a stupid reply. She has been telling you for six years!!!

  • Rantcentric
    Rantometer (@Rantcentric) reported

@radioheadjen @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Going into their store in Bournemouth just as bad. They inquired why I was there, then insisted other customers get served before me because my issue would take longer than ten minutes. I was waiting over an hour to be served.

  • angelakittycat
    𝔸𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕝𝕒 (@angelakittycat) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had to contact all the agencies after a relative died before lockdown, all very helpful and had deets to deal with it. Some customer services were also very sympathetic and truly sorry for loss. Surprised me that it wasn't more unemotional call handlers.

  • Dax1978Dave
    Dave 💙💛🏆 (@Dax1978Dave) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a very similar situation with @ScottishPower THE single worst company I had to deal with at a very difficult time after my mum died in February.

  • Rantcentric
    Rantometer (@Rantcentric) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You misunderstand. He doesn't want to have to jump through another hundred hoops in the hope of getting a result. He wants YOU to take ownership of the problem, have ONE person deal with it until it's resolved. It's called customer services, not: minimal effort until they go away
