Which is rather unusual of vodafone as i extremely rarely have issues with them.

Then we had to ask for upgrade and the call connected immediately. You can join anytime, but you can never leave.

Their other trick is demanding advance payment if you have a higher-than-usual bill, and blocking the account until you pay. Not great when working overseas
