  • Simmonslfc Scott simmons (@Simmonslfc) reported from Middleton, England

@VodafoneUK awful customer service today from your advisor. He left the call saying sound after I said he has been no help. #Vodafone

  • domtsmith Dominic Smith (@domtsmith) reported from Middleton, England

Well @VodafoneUK your 191 customer services line is truly awful. I want to speak to someone about a problem, why will you not let me do that?

  • WilsonP03 Paul wilson (@WilsonP03) reported from Fleetwood, England

@JohnMUFC20 @MaccaFrank @VodafoneUK 😂 totally agree very rare you get people who will go the extra mile for you which is a shame as these places should be the bench mark for service

  • Cyberunit1 Conor Griffiths (@Cyberunit1) reported from Fleetwood, England

@ThreeUKSupport I’ve just moved house and due to mistakes by @VodafoneUK I’m not getting connected until the 8th June. I’ve been relying on using my unlimited data with 3 for a hotspot but that stopped working yesterday, and I can’t access MyThree to find out the problem 🤔

  • bobofgold Daniel Lucy-Lloyd (@bobofgold) reported from Arnside, England

@VodafoneUK Yes @SkySportsMobile have been aware of these issues since the end of last year and have been promising an update to fix it. The app hasn't been updated since October 2019. You used to be able to force the app to v2.4 but login doesn't work on that version any more.

  • LesleyD31022980 Lesley Dixon (@LesleyD31022980) reported

@mulletmas @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had the same experience a few years ago. Vodaphone backed down on our cancellation argument, gave me a credit note to cancel last alleged unpaid invoice, but still put two black marks on my otherwise unblemished credit history which they refused to move. Would never use them

  • aBeeJones1 Abbie Jones (@aBeeJones1) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I am so sorry to all who experienced this. My family did too 10 yrs ago when my teen sister died suddenly. Each time we tried to explain and cancel, @Vodaphone4 told my grieving mum that only her (deceased) child could cancel her own account (that my mum payed for anyway?!)

  • NaturePoetsSong Dean Powell (Natures Parliament) (@NaturePoetsSong) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Then tell your call centre staff to develop empathy, care, respect and to top behaving despicably. Also fire those who fail to do so.

  • philjohno Phillip Johnson (@philjohno) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Really sorry to hear this. When my father in law died I called EE to cancel his contract. They offered their sympathies and cancelled immediately. They also offered us a month totally free to use the account to call other organisations.Vodafone, bow your head in shame.Disgraceful!

  • ngriffin_uk Nicholas Griffin (@ngriffin_uk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Oh and when they said that it had been cancelled, it actually hadn’t and they charged me again a month later… Absolutely terrible.

  • KP1963 Karl Parr 💙 (@KP1963) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s really sad that this had happened to your family. Some companies have dedicated teams to help out families after a death to cancel accounts. Suggestion. If you don’t currently have such a system @VodafoneUK I suggest that you consider one.

  • Moonbeamsplay Jacqui Shankly (@Moonbeamsplay) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is exactly what happened to me. Dreadful service, I thought I had paid final bill in full so cancelled the direct debit. Shocked to get a threatening debt letter to say I had outstanding amount. But worst was trying to get hold of an actual person to talk to. Impossible.

  • ngriffin_uk Nicholas Griffin (@ngriffin_uk) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone has the worst cancellations in my experience as well, it took me two phones calls and like 10 emails to conceal a contract that I no longer had the phone for and was a month over. They still kept asking me if i still wanted the contract…

  • Scott12Colin Colin Scott (@Scott12Colin) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK No wonder UK productivity is so poor when we spend so much time waiting on phones trying to sort out crap service. Public sector's no better. I made an application to the Court of Protection in February and they've still not got around to dealing with it.

  • ArthurAssendune Sir Arthur Assendune 🇪🇺💙#FBPPR #FBPE 🇺🇦 (@ArthurAssendune) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Perhaps you had better have a chat with your customer service agents, eh! Some training might be in order, and perhaps a review of your incentive schemes. Oh, and get yourself certificated to ISO 9001.
