@VodafoneUK @AlexanderChrisS I have already done this several times. I have realised that Vodafone customer service is actually run by ‘bots’ programmed to say the same things each time.

Appalling service @VodafoneUK . New contract 7/1, still no data. 25 minutes on the phone yesterday, promised a call back that never came. Now doing battle with online chat. It shouldn’t be this hard. Thinking of cancelling for breach of contact.

Gotta give it to @VodafoneUK signal great when colleagues are faltering, daily rewards with #VeryMeRewards and a customer service that actually listen and solve problems.

Hey @VodafoneUK, I’m having issues with my 4G data on my phone. It’s saying it has it, yet it isn’t working (no apps are loading and I can’t google anything…). I’ve sent you a DM but unsure whether you have received the message (because of the automated system). (1/2)

@D_e_n_i_s_eT @DavidDavisMP @VodafoneUK So I take it they are the cheapest? If the service is so bad then why not switch to another provider?

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK What a horrible episode. I’d say let them sake the case to court. You have done everything right. They don’t have a leg to stand on. The cost to them will be trivial but they’ll be shown up for the shysters they are.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Hate @VodafoneUK. We got married in ‘07. Ten years of trying and they never managed to change the name on wife’s account. Bills had maiden name on them in 2016. Left 5yr ago and they still chase for outstanding balance on a long dead contract. Always rude. Never helpful. Knobs.

Mark Harris 🟠🌤

@badmonotreme @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot When a caller start's calling me "Mark" I always say "I think you'll find the correct term of address is Mr Harris" The worst is the scam call from abroad who insist on calling me "Mr Mark"
-
S JN
(@SJN9118) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 3/3 unfortunately @VodafoneUK wouldn't give 2 shits if a customer accidentally overpays and never realises. I've had enough of their customer service to know this.
-
Helen Davies
(@HelliePickett) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK All these big companies with zero customer service if you can hold of anyone that is. How hard is it to get a direct dial number to deal with cases like these so they are trained to deal with the realities. So sorry you and others have had to deal with this
-
Tripping Gauntlet

@GeorgeMonbiot If in doubt try Ofcom. Argued for 18 months with @VodafoneUK about lack of service, always an excuse. Finally asked for deadlock letter (needed to escalate) problem resolved in a week and a goodwill gesture of £100.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Worst company in the UK. Awful.
-

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Horrific. I’ve discovered that when one makes open complaints on Twitter, companies & local authorities jump to resolve the issues.

Peter Norman
(@PeterMNorman) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Hideous situation, I had to deal with BT on an issue that they eventually came good on, but it took over 7 hours on the phone the majority of which was being forced to listen to banal music. Companies all need to sharpen up their acts and put more resource into customer care

@VodafoneUK @RogueCoder250 Yet another faceless company who appoints foreign call centres, who are **** and hardly speak decent English. I was also with this **** show, but moved all my business accounts to another provider who actually care and get stuff done
