Vodafone Issues Reports Near Newick, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Newick and nearby locations:

  • JordanPryor44 Jordan Pryor (@JordanPryor44) reported from Saltdean, England

@VodafoneUK 191 doesn’t solve anything. The virtual assistant just tells me to go online and the last 4 times I’ve chatted online they have said they’ve sorted it but never have.

  • simon_d_fenton Simon Fenton (@simon_d_fenton) reported from Hassocks, England

@VodafoneUK Ok thanks. Never heard of it. Wasn’t aware I had it. And here’s another thought... if this keeps my family safe online, while using Vodafone, why don’t you do this ANYWAY as part of your service to us? Hmm?

  • marcmc77 Marc McKenna-Coles © (he/him) #BLM (@marcmc77) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@N5JFY It is so sad that @VodafoneUK colleagues hold no compassion. My husband @HamishLord is dealing with his late uncles account and no one is willing to support - I would expect so much more from the organisation. #CustomerFirst ?

  • MAGIC72 MAGIC3CPFC🦅❤️💙🦅❤️💙 (@MAGIC72) reported from Crawley, England

@Jonnogreig @VodafoneUK Good luck with that. I have been waiting for them to unlock my paid up phone since early July so I can make calls or receive from another provider. Customer service appalling and all they do is make excuses & blame apple 🍎 or their NUC team for a service that should take 10 days

  • JamesSinfield James Sinfield (@JamesSinfield) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@VodafoneUK can you help please? My wife has spent 5 hrs+ across 8 calls to try and get an unlock code for her phone. This has been going on since June. She’s v frustrated and it’s a poor CX.

  • samerbagaeen Cllr. Prof Samer Bagaeen #Cities (@samerbagaeen) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@VodafoneUK @LewisHamilton It’s not #5G that’s the CNN problem, mostly. It’s cowboy agents you & other mobile operators are using in UK towns & cities ramming the cabinets & masts where communities do not want them. Good luck in #MugelloGP Lewis. Let’s go get that century!

  • worldwidewedd Steve Wedd (@worldwidewedd) reported from Saltdean, England

Power cut at home again. Can’t send help message to UKPN because content control has been imposed on my phone. @VodafoneUK CS recommend that I go to the UKPN website to seek aid. On a computer. In a power cut.

  • MAGIC72 MAGIC3CPFC🦅❤️💙 (@MAGIC72) reported from Crawley, England

@VodafoneUK Happy to enter thank you as long as I don’t have to have Vodafone as my network. I have my reasons after being a loyal customer of 15+ years.

  • Jobish7 Jo Bishop BA hons (@Jobish7) reported from Woodingdean, England

@VodafoneUK I cannot speak to a human regarding my account or pay a bill. Online ‘chat’ service just gives you options you haven’t asked for or logs you off, 191 just goes round&round &doesn’t actually listen to voice prompts/cuts you off. Not good enough.

  • 115thDream_ Laura (@115thDream_) reported from East Grinstead, England

@zuhamy @VodafoneUK @EE is the only company I’ve not had major issues with

  • choppy_1991 Mackem Exile 🇨🇵 (@choppy_1991) reported from Saltdean, England

Any chance of a decent internet speed @VodafoneUK you are 50mbps down on your minimum requirement?

  • AutyWarriorMum Maria Cook 🌈✈️🎭 (@AutyWarriorMum) reported from Crawley, England

@VodafoneUK Thank you, much appreciated. I really do mean that. I’ve been a customer since before Vodafone was Vodafone (used to be Peoples Phone!!) and this would be really helpful right now being stuck indoors trying to not only care for my son, but home school him too.... 🙏🏻

  • kciroy Yorick Brown (@kciroy) reported from Hove, England

Glad to say broadband is fixed! Too much rain it seems. now having issues with VPN blocking which I didn't have before but apparently Vodafone is notorious for. Good to have BB again but doesn't excuse neither @VodafoneUK and @OpenreachHelp having service status pages

  • iamryanburnett RYAN BURNETT (@iamryanburnett) reported from Hove, England

Hi @VodafoneUK. I’d like to discuss a few things with you over the phone but it doesn’t seem I’m allowed to speak with a human being on any of your customer service providers 🤖 Is this correct? Surely not.

  • LifeofGlitter_ Georgina Webb (@LifeofGlitter_) reported from Hove, England

@VodafoneUK customer service is disgusting - just had an agent hang up on me and we’re really rude! I’ve had no broadband since Saturday - just a catalogue of errors!

  • RGNJonathan Jonathan O'Keeffe (@RGNJonathan) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@VodafoneUK i done a sim swap because the network wasn’t working for me and now I’m getting all these messages about new plans etc

  • Reece_T92 Reece Thompson (@Reece_T92) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@VodafoneUK I’ve tried resetting my password to log in to my account and each time it just says I’m locked out even using the temporary password sent to my email. Can’t get through to anyone on the live chat either. Please help

  • simon_d_fenton Simon Fenton (@simon_d_fenton) reported from Hassocks, England

@VodafoneUK Also, this was added to our accounts when? We haven’t just got new accounts. And we’ve never had a text to say we’ve been protected from anything. Any of us.

  • RGNJonathan Jonathan O'Keeffe (@RGNJonathan) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@VodafoneUK I’m getting really poor service and always have been. I have even had the phone replaced and still no joy! Haven’t had an opportunity to go into store secondary to covid.

  • Pryor_27 James Pryor (@Pryor_27) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Hi @VodafoneUK is there a problem with 4G in Brighton area? Been twitchy all day.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LesAtkinsUK Les Atkins (@LesAtkinsUK) reported

@maccaspacca1 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK If only there was a govt appointed regulator to oversee this industry, that could impose heavy fines for poor performance. If only.

  • JonnyHAuckland1 Jonathan Holman (@JonnyHAuckland1) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same thing here George. We emigrated and there simply was no way for her to cancel her account or contact them to cancel it. Only option was to cancel the DD. Left the UK but wouldn't touch Vodafone again. Not sure if they still write to our old address!

  • AdzCrawford2003 Adam Crawford (@AdzCrawford2003) reported

@VodafoneUK Tell me this, so how are customers supposed to stay connected on the underground when you only have 4G in 4 stations across the whole tube network? Someone could be travelling 1 hour on the network with no signal! Another cost cutting measure? Despicable!

  • dmbayly Michael Bayly (@dmbayly) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Similar story with Vodaphone Australia over me deceased wife's account. It took the intervention of the communications ombudsman to fix. I was told that 80% of their complaints were about Vodafone.

  • MSMWatchdog2013 NOT a Canberra Bubbler 🌲🌏🌲 (@MSMWatchdog2013) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My sister's husband died in 2015. For 7 years she's been trying to shut down her husband's @Telstra account. On numerous occasions she's been reassured that it's been resolved. Every time she gets another threatening letter her grief & loss is multiplied. This is corporate abuse.

  • nicoatridge Nic Oatridge (@nicoatridge) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Handling bereavement has become more difficult as companies cut back on customer service and introduce increasingly high hurdles to people trying to switch or close accounts. Anyway, your experience reminds me NOT to switch to #Vodafone

  • liz63972336 liz (@liz63972336) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Has to be corporate strategy, otherwise you would have had one bad call with a bad employee and the next person would have helped. Not only distressing for vulnerable elderly, but anyone grieving and trying to deal with loved ones accounts after death. Criminal

  • AS_Northbank Semie. (@AS_Northbank) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I left @VodafoneUK years ago, awful network & didn’t really get anything from it.

  • Christo27393002 Christopher Overton (@Christo27393002) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Yeah VodafoneUK doesn’t sound like a good service period. When I worked telecommunications in the past, contracts it seems could easily be negotiated to severance due to death with retroactive adjustments. Call less than a few minutes. Rigidity is an awful norm.

  • e4_ian IanE4 (@e4_ian) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Thank goodness my mum could not get on with mobile phones. We bought her a pay as you go and she never used it once, not even to answer it. Shame on you @VodafoneUK
