@VodafoneUK @AlexanderChrisS I have already done this several times. I have realised that Vodafone customer service is actually run by ‘bots’ programmed to say the same things each time.

@GeorgeMonbiot @itslozxo @VodafoneUK The way Vodafone have treated your family has been bad service from them to be honest. This is unacceptable for a company making millions each.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You misunderstand. He doesn't want to have to jump through another hundred hoops in the hope of getting a result. He wants YOU to take ownership of the problem, have ONE person deal with it until it's resolved. It's called customer services, not: minimal effort until they go away

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Good and thank you. Had exactly the same situation with my Dad years ago. I set him up a @vodafoneUK account which he never used as he died days later. Dreadful service.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Just get a lawyer to write letter of complaint to CEO and then threaten them with court

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja God the tone of this message makes me want to hit something (one). Not the sort of tone that’s going to go down well with seriously passed off people.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are awful. My husband wanted to cancel his contract, at the end of it not mid way through, and was met with the same hostility. He had to threaten them with going to Trading Standards and WhatchDog. They quickly cancelled his contract after that. He has no health issues.

@saffy_ron @VodafoneUK Ugh that's awful! Unfortunately all these companies are awful, I had so much paperwork to cancel my dad's contracts. They really need to sort this out, it's completely unacceptable.

@tanithcaitlin @VodafoneUK I had the exact same issue

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot WTF? Not even the decency to contact in person, initially and directly?
