  • UKLightCreation Bryan Light (@UKLightCreation) reported from Middlesbrough, England

As great as @VodafoneUK are, their phone insurance absolutely stinks, would advise everybody to avoid it and even cancel it if they have it you are much better off saving the money and putting it in a separate account

  • macca554 paul mcgeary (@macca554) reported from Peterlee, England

@VodafoneUK new contract does not include Spotify, do I have to cancel Spotify subscription to prevent being charged for it

  • ToxicSmoggie Chris (@ToxicSmoggie) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@VodafoneUK Improve your services and then it might be worth the extra charge but since I'm on the lowest broadband package getting **** speeds, the increase is a slap in the face

  • Ummar_Hanif Ummar Hanif (@Ummar_Hanif) reported from Middlesbrough, England

@VodafoneUK have without a shadow of a doubt the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with, 1 hour and 3 different members of staff and 3 seperate times I had to start all over again just to make a single payment! This is why customers leave!

  • Cadzo10 Rich Caddy (@Cadzo10) reported from Redcar, England

@VodafoneUK Hey James, obviously you don't as the first time I called the operator identified the issue and instructed me to cancel the debit payment with my bank without saying I didn't have any security on the account.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • valeriehayward valerie hayward #AfghanLivesMatter (@valeriehayward) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never ever have a Vodafone account, like many others have had dreadful experience dealing with them and debt collector, advice always keep all correspondence and log all calls plus keep for years as they will come back for you.

  • bmac1906 Barry MacDonald (@bmac1906) reported

@adri_port @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Ought/should - but they don’t. Vodafone were great for my family - but I’ve got a similar example with Halifax who were just awful to deal with in person and on the phone.

  • MythicJess Mythic Jess (@MythicJess) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Dark humour aside, this is ridiculous. @VodafoneUK (the company not the poor people fielding the social media account - bless them) need to have a better policy on ending accounts when the account holder is deceased. Why can other places like banks etc do this but not them?

  • Bernie_Bus Bernie Reddington (@Bernie_Bus) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Another complaint! My daughter is transferred to a normal account, but two months later still money is coming out so I end the Direct debit as I don’t see why she should be paying at the same time as me for exactly the same number!

  • adri_port Adrian Porter (@adri_port) reported

@bmac1906 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK "Standard call centre is no use for this scenario". Navigating a large companies internal structures shouldn't be the customer's problem: call centre operatives should be trained on which department to transfer customers to, and have access to a supervisor for anything tricky

  • AvfcRick Rick (@AvfcRick) reported

@villanfandan1 @VodafoneUK Proper **** service. I've heard people have a crap experience with them before but nothing like this. This is next level crap.

  • tanithcaitlin Tanith Hood (@tanithcaitlin) reported

And all this hassle because @VodafoneUK contacted me about switching to a full fibre service. I should have stayed on my existing connection.

  • Bernie_Bus Bernie Reddington (@Bernie_Bus) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Yeah this is just to transfer me to a normal claim customer account!Pretty disgusted, I refuse so he offered the transfer for half the price! Why do I have to pay to be a average customer not needing reasonable adjustments to cater for my format needs

  • james_stampfer James Stampfer (@james_stampfer) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK As a general rule of thumb when big corporates are tough to navigate contact the ceo, I now have have 18 months free Wi-Fi because I lodged a ceo complaint. Can usually find a ceo email address with a bit of searching on Google.

  • thesandbag Mark James Talbot (@thesandbag) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It's seemingly standard business practice for any subscription model service, make it far too much effort to leave so you just pay. Its a seriously poor part of consumer rights that needs to be made much better. You should be able to cancel for any reason at any time
