@kenzie_foulkes @VodafoneUK I don't think it's a case of training. It's pure ignorance. Just bullying people out of money. You can't speak to customer services unless you pay the so-called 'debt'. You just get diverted to the automated payment line Anyone would think I owe thousands.

  • TheBelledePoor
Kaye (@TheBelledePoor) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

@VodafoneUK I have even tried to close the account and offer a minimal repayment as she has never had a debt in her life. I now have a very upset and stressed mum about to go back to chemo with this hanging over her. Excellent service for your long term customers 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  • shinyperson
Max (@shinyperson) reported from Whaley Bridge, England

@NuttyRichie @KevinessW @VodafoneUK You'd also call companies out as irresponsible if they allowed customers to get into financial difficulty by taking out service contracts they couldn't afford. That diligence is them being a responsible creditor.

  • lcloggy
Laura willstead (@lcloggy) reported from Newcastle-under-Lyme District, England

@aj_180 @VodafoneUK Even though terms state free disconnect if they can't supply new house. Apparently another trip to a store who didn't know what to do and eventually refunded. Oh and prime contact... Total shit. Never been able to speak to "mine"

What a bunch of profit chasing thugs @VodafoneUK are. I get a regular monthly bill of £17 however just being a day late for payment ( only ever one reminder) I get a £5 penalty. That’s £5 a nearly 33% fine. Catch phrase should be “got you, give me your money, stuff the service”

  • MsChloe96
    Chloe Dannielle (@MsChloe96) reported

@VodafoneUK A truly awful service. How dare I move house? Disconnecting your service has been the most stressful part of this process and they’re still chasing me for money that I don’t owe. Call back requests ignored. Hurried off the phone quite rudely. Promises made and unkept.

  • gpfradgley
    Gareth Paul Fradgley (@gpfradgley) reported

I worked with Adrian’s Son for a few years while at Vodafone and he was such a positive fun guy. We all loved @VodafoneUK we were a family. Then this awful franchise scheme came in. Dropped all the teams that had worked for them for years. I still don’t know how this is legal?

  • ArunHebbar7
    Arun Hebbar (@ArunHebbar7) reported

@rksrajiv @VodafoneUK @AdityaBirlaGrp There is absolutely no issue at all. However, I am expecting some kind of clarification because nowhere in the world does a policy exist where a company is required to pay Rs.2/- to settle a Rs.1/- obligation. What I mean is that when Vodafone Idea paid the moratorium cost to DOT through equity conversion, it did not actually pay any of the Spectrum or AGR liabilities that were reflected under finance costs. Therefore, there is no reason why the company cannot discharge those obligations & why Speculation? I don't understand.

  • mhabib18

    @VodafoneUK Worst service experience .

  • ArunHebbar7
    Arun Hebbar (@ArunHebbar7) reported

@rksrajiv @VodafoneUK @AdityaBirlaGrp For a moment, exclude the Rs. 36,950 crore equity conversion and consider only the financial activities (i.e., cash inflows and cash outflows) from 01 Oct 2021 to 31 Dec 2025. Accordingly, as of 31 Dec 2025, Vodafone Idea has a cash shortfall of Rs. 26,620 crore. Hence, the company cannot fully discharge its interest and finance obligations, nor can it allocate funds for network expansion. Now consider that as of 31 Dec 2025, the Government has provided relief on AGR dues and freezed the final AGR liability at around Rs. 64,000 crore till FY2036. Accordingly, the AGR interest recognised by the company during the moratorium period does not need to be discharged immediately. Therefore, if you adjust the earlier cash shortfall of Rs. 26,620 crore by excluding Rs. 17,102 crore of AGR-related interest, the net shortfall comes to approximately Rs. 8,000+ crore as of 31 Dec 2025. Lastly, coming to Spectrum obligations, the company has recognised around Rs. 55,254 crore. Even after reducing approximately Rs. 9,000 crore towards the cash shortfall, the company would still be able to discharge nearly Rs. 46,000 crore. With this, Vodafone Idea would reduce its Spectrum obligations from around Rs. 1.2 lakh crore to nearly Rs. 74,000 crore. In such a scenario, lenders may be willing to provide around Rs. 45,000 crore in funding, which the company can utilise for network expansion and CAPEX purposes. That's all I am trying to explain. In any case, Vodafone Idea still has multiple possibilities to clean up its balance sheet without any further equity dilution. 31 March 2026 Financial results are very crucial.

  • pauljonesAIR
    Paul Jones - Performer/Shooter, Web sites🔞 (@pauljonesAIR) reported

@VodafoneUK OK, so, a complaint Phone, with bank cards, lost. No problem, get a new one. I went to the vodafone shop, with my passport and my bank statement. They can't help. They can only order a sim for a lost phone if I have my bank cards. The ones in the phone. That will take a week to replace. They told me to phone customer services. CS were surprised the shop could not help, so put me through security. Which I failed. I even have a 4 digit code? Never used it. My last bill? No idea, because it's a text on my phone. Look at my bank statement? Fair plan, but my LOST PHONE is my 2FA device, so before showing me my statement, my bank will send a text to my phone, the one I don't have any more... They said I failed security and the only option would be a security reset. They'd send me an email. You know what the security reset asks for? a PHOTO of my passport and a PHOTO of my bank statement. You know what is LESS SECURE than a person standing in front of you, with their physical passport and bank statement? A photo of those documents attached to a form. It's almost as though you have not paid attention to what AI image generation can do these days. If you ever need to get a DBS check, they require you turn up, in person , and present physical documents. Not photos. SUGGESTION : If a customer comes to a shop with their passport and bank statement, THAT IS SECURE ID and the shop should be able to order a sim replacement.
