@vodafoneuk Just to note, there is a long history to our account including being without WiFi for over a month during lockdown and having an engineer out to replace our OpenReach socket, which we were ASSURED was the problem. Nothing so far has helped.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had the same with TalkTalk from my mum's house after she passed away. They racked up £600 to be owed to them, after we told them she'd passed away. Eventually spoke to someone with a heart and got it cancelled. We'll never use Talk Talk for anything now.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had the same with 02 Germany. Kept telling me I had to cancel through the phone app, or call them on the phone, but I didn’t have my mum’s PIN. A sympathetic call centre agent eventually cancelled the contract and advised me not to pay the outstanding balance.
