I already get well below the promised minimum speed; how bad does it have to get before you can persuade Openreach their local network layout is comically poor needs changing? 1 mile of copper when only 0.2 from the cabinet!

There is a forum on their website which suggests a few other customers have had the same issue and that it's a porting fault. But when a technician called me today he was really offhand and said that I'd just Googled and hadn't got proper info!

There have been some frequency-based issues occasionally. Apparently because not all router / antenna frequency specs match the frequency of all the operator’s base stations.

Glenn Le Santo (@lesanto) reported@Documentally @ThreeUK @VodafoneUK The need to change from 3g to 4g suggests a frequency mismatch in progress. I had this problem in Hackney until I got a router and antenna that actually matched the local signal.
