@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Please never choose Vodafone. I’ve had similar experiences with @VodafoneGroup where I got a confirmation of cancellation of my contract, but they KEPT TAKING MONEY from my account in breach of the cancellation, and only stopped when explicitly emailed with proof.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Same problem with Virgin Media. Had account details, bank details and no service had been used for 3 months but still wouldn't cancel without password and security questions. My 91 year old father had serious dementia, no chance! This is a real problem that needs sorting.

@Naturist_Life @VodafoneUK Indeed: the Esplanade in Sandgate always has terrible radio signal for example. However the Vodafone issue is progressively worse here - either the UK transmitter covering Sandgate seems to have downgraded, or the French have fitted a shiny new one with better range...

Msgd on Twitter, recd reply & responded. Nothing at all since. 'Outage' known in area shown hub yest-crashed now. When will it be resumed?!!
