New customers are offered the Mate 20 Pro at £40.00 per month (conditions applied) and a £49.00 upfront. Existing loyal customers pay more for no upfront charge cos of the charge added to the bill over the contract, 24 mth. Huh!

Roll on almost a year and my phone miraculously has WiFi but not phone or data. I've bought an upgrade and would like to unlock my new SIM. I've tried calling and nowt works. Help???

Enable VoWiFi, and connect to a WiFi network. Wait a few minutes for your phone to authenticate over the Internet into your home company's core network.

They need me to fly back to the UK, use it in the UK, and then I'm good to go again and they'll unblock me. Not happening, so getting my family to help out very thankfully.
