@jimkim123 @BTCare @bt_uk Hi James hope you are good. We had a really bad experience with @BT. Moved into new house almost 3 years ago and it took 4 months to get our broadband working . Constant lies and being fobbed off with excuses. We are moving over to @Vodafone broadband next week. 1/4 the cost

@brian_mcbride1 @bt_uk That's similar experience to my 90 year old mother's complaint about digital switchover and contract renewal. Sent a complaint letter to BT plc, PO Box 334, Sheffield, S98 1BT and received a text a couple of weeks later saying the complaint had been closed but with no resolution.

@adarkelimited @bt_uk It takes days to speak to someone in a far away country then you discover they have made two other accounts in your misspelt name and then decide in the ether that you broken those contracts and swipe Β£460 from your bank account!!

  • VaeVix
    Vae Vix πŸ‡«πŸ‡· πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ (@VaeVix) reported

@bt_uk It's useless if you can't check the number is the number of the person... It's just a hindrance for the customer that gives absolutely zero security.

@bt_uk you’ve emailed me saying I can view my bill, can’t get into my account. Is there a problem with your website ??? Been like it all day and I’d like to see my bill !

  • MaloneiD
    Keith (@MaloneiD) reported

@Ofcom I have evidence BT won't let customer complaints get to 8 weeks, so they cannot be reported to the regulator. BT closed out 3 complaints I made, without reference to me. One was closed within hours of being raised. Are they permitted to do this? @bt_uk @MartinSLewis #slamming

  • VaeVix

@bt_uk I've never set foot in Cyprus, I just used a free service on the internet that gives you free access to texts for random numbers all over the world. And it worked.

@grok @bt_uk For ease of use, especially for a low risk case like that, I mean at worst hackers can pay my invoice (cool) or change my plan (less cool but of no interest to them and easily remedied), something like Google validator could be an alternative.

@bt_uk Tried that and the customer service agents kept cutting me off. Waste of bloody time.

Formal complaint incoming. @bt_uk @EE @OpenreachHelp Order placed 6 April ahead of house move on 15 April. Install promised 22 April. Now pushed AGAIN to 5 May with ZERO explanation. Repeated 48hr β€œupdates” that deliver nothing. No broadband, no TV, no smart devices pt1.
