1. @richardbranson cannot tell you how incensed I am at the poor service I have had since signing up to @virginmedia - no one can help me sort out getting a good and consistent internet signal across the whole house (which @bt_uk could) - amazed how the new technology is worse.

@guardiannews The slow development of ultra-fast broadband & services like 5G can firmly be placed as BT's door. With monopolistic control of the backbone in the UK & all other providers source bandwidth through this monopoly supplier! What incentive does BT have to be bleeding edge @bt_uk

@bt_uk Yes, it has. I was supposed to be switching from FTTC to FTTP, but I currently have sweet FA! A change in provider (to BT) 6 months ago also left me without a service for almost 2 weeks because of a "communication breakdown"

@MrsAgbag @bt_uk Thanks! Problem with changing provider is that BT are the only ones who seem to be able to service my flat for some wildly anti-competitive reason. So I’m stuck waiting and waiting. Otherwise I’d be with literally any other provider on earth by now
