    1. @richardbranson cannot tell you how incensed I am at the poor service I have had since signing up to @virginmedia - no one can help me sort out getting a good and consistent internet signal across the whole house (which @bt_uk could) - amazed how the new technology is worse.

  • shamacentre
    Shama Women's Centre (@shamacentre) reported

Weeks with no broadband. Multiple calls. No real help. We are a charity and people depend on reaching us. BTs failure to resolve this issue is not just inconvenient, it is putting vulnerable people at risk. We urgently need BT to take responsibility & fix this. @BTGroup @BTCare

  • GraemeDavis
    Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported

@bt_uk Thanks for this @bt_uk - i did manage to speak to a BT *human being* and the problem is outside my home, BUT the process has triggered BT to book a fourth appointment to connect me to fibre. I’ve had three engineers who say it is impossible - Grade 2 listed house in a conservation area; cables would need multiple way leaves, no practical cable access to my house which is permitted by Grade 2, difficulty of routing inflexible cables once inside. I’ve accepted this, fibre cannot be installed to my home. How do I cancel the engineer and not rebook the engineer appointment which has been set up? There appears to be a lock on the system where it can only be rebooked even by BT; cancellation is absolutely impossible. Should I try a letter? Any phone process doesn’t work as operatives are not authorised to cancel but can only rebook.

  • GraemeDavis
    Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported

i’m trying and failing to report a broadband problem to @bt_uk - online is an endless loop to linecheck (fault found), chat message won’t open, phone sends to txt not a person, txt is a very long wait on a charged-for line. How does anyone ever contact BT?

  • Staggly
    Paul stagg (@Staggly) reported

@bt_uk @ralphaverbuch but they will put you hold , be rude to you and ultimately do nothing - we are paying for service that you are not providing - answer us on here

  • Jacsplace3
    Jac Dee 🇺🇦 (@Jacsplace3) reported

Finally, a customer service employee from @bt_uk is taking ownership of my complaint. Apologies offered by her. I have requested a timeline of everything to identify human error in ceasing the account. Agreed a plan to reinstate broadband & get a refund from @EE @BBCWatchdog

  • gjc_cook
    Gavin Cook (@gjc_cook) reported

@bt_uk you’ve sent me a returns label to an email address I don’t have access too. I cba to ring so can we sort it on here please. Also, I’m sure I paid for the equipment when I started the service so why do I have to send it back now?

  • MarkTheSnap
    Mark Howell (@MarkTheSnap) reported

So, this new digital voice from @bt_uk If the internet is down you can't use your landline. Guess what, the internet is down so we don't have a phone. We can't get a mobile signal in our area, that's why we have a landline. This is progress apparently.

  • Johnty14
    John Richards (@Johnty14) reported

so @bt_uk after no real support over your dm’s as we were going around in circles, with you still not quite understanding that when someone that has an account with you dies, their contract ends. It’s not transferred to their next of kin. We gave notice with the bereavement team

  • RaeRubyRaeK
    RaeRubyRae (@RaeRubyRaeK) reported

@bt_uk Now I can’t log into the website either without giving you my mobile number? What about someone who doesn’t have a mobile number? You’re actively discriminating against people who might not be fully digital. @Ofcom stop allowing BT to pull this crap!

  • simboman
    Simboman 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 (@simboman) reported

@stokeygurl @bt_uk Sadly, BT are fobbing you off. This is a known issue and clearing your cache won't work. If it does by all means come back and update us. I've calIed 150 several times now about this issue and no resolution. I have asked for a paper bill and 7 days on and I'm still waiting.
