Edinburgh is riddled with examples of why the corner-cutting privatisation of utilities is and will continue to fail the population. There are so many entities in the way of better/more integrated infrastructure.

@bt_uk your customer service is appalling! After months of hassle setting up last year, we are still having trouble cancelling. We were told not to worry about returning our router due to our circs and now I’m still getting emails about being charged for it.

@iamonabeach @LivingStreetsEd @bt_uk Haven’t a clue but when we had the big gale about 15 years ago radio transmitters for telephones television and radio collapsed, leaving only landlines. In an emergency communications are vital, and people on the mainland had more information about our situation than we had.
