@PleasantKenobi @bt_uk Apologies if this isn’t useful but for a professional broadband service I can recommend @aaisp - lower ratios of customer to bandwidth to ensure you always get what you pay for. You also don’t have to pay for a voice service if you don’t need it.

@_Paulsicle @PleasantKenobi @bt_uk I suspect that it is dependent on where you are and how often you have issues with the Infrastructure. I had to deal with them about 4 time over the 7 years and it was totally fine if a little expensive. I've heard from other people that they can be a pain.

@dle54 @bt_uk Not a British Institution for years. BT palmed it off to India and it took two hours to get through to a human on the phone. That’s why I left them. Customer for years.

@bt_uk New address is connected, a week early. This doesnt change the effects its having right now on my job (and my wife's - a mistake like this when everyone is working from home is bad) 4G mini hub is here - but I can't stream off of this (a literal part of my job) among other issues

@bt_uk no fix, smart hub starts by staying solid green for a minute or so, then flashes pink/purple then flashes a steady orange ???

@bt_uk my contract tells my I can have 3 wifi discs I have one. I want two more but it’s impossible to get you to send them. Online help is useless and agents are busy due to Covid - I’ve been trying for 6 months. Don’t promise what you have no intention of delivering 😡

@Whitlean @virginmedia @BTCare Posted elsewhere, it seems to dependent on who you speak to. I was contacted by someone in customer service - 15mins later, sorted. Very happy camper

@34SeigeRhinos @bt_uk Honestly, my experience is that Virgin Media are literally the worst provider in the country. I will avoid them at all costs after numerous issues and poor responses from them. BT have been consistently good - but this week is stressful enough without being disconnected.

@bt_uk how can I register a problem with my ultra slow broadband without waiting on hold for forty minutes?
