SeanMynyddLlangynidr 🏴 🇮🇪 🇵🇸 (@SeanLlangynidr) reported@bt_uk I've called that number over 20 times, no chance I'm going to be put on hold listening to mindless muzak again. I need my service fixed so as I can move to another ISP. If it is not resolved within another 4 days, I will be going to a solicitor. I've had enough of your lies.
-
Dan Reardon (@DanReardon76) reportedDear @bt_uk we moved to an address you don't supply to in Jan. You said cancellation would be automatic but are still chasing me for payment. Your CS team are simply unable to comprehend and my complaint was closed without investigation. Come on eh?
-
Elek Eklund (@EklundElek) reported@tctantan @bt_uk @bt_uk a once great company is now CRAP so I’m not surprised by what you’re saying 🤙🏻 You should ask to see the itemised phone bill for the non existing service! 🤙🏻
-
MattHopkins1620 (@MattHopkins1620) reported@bt_uk are committed to excellent customer service, they say so when you ring them. Then they say they're very busy and they promise to speak to you within 20 minutes or you could ring back. Hint, excellent customer service starts with answering the bloody phone.
-
Keith (@MaloneiD) reported@Ofcom I have evidence BT won't let customer complaints get to 8 weeks, so they cannot be reported to the regulator. BT closed out 3 complaints I made, without reference to me. One was closed within hours of being raised. Are they permitted to do this? @bt_uk @MartinSLewis #slamming
-
Ann Palmer (@AnniePShoreham) reported@bt_uk I’ve made a complaint already. Hopeless. Not your fault I know. CEO next then. 😬
-
Garv Mittal (@garv25mittal) reported@bt_uk absolute crass service you guys have, I have been trying to get a broadband installed for the past 01 month but not getting any update from you guys. Absolutely pathetic service
-
Simon Smith (@Simoncitizen) reported@Rainmaker1973 This is how it used to be. Honestly we are going backwards. The #digital age is #buckling. I have a problem with my landline. The digital service on #X can not solve it so I have to write a snail mail letter to @bt_uk
-
bazzer (@thematrixzion) reportedThe @bt_uk app is a load of crap it updates you can’t use it even to turn my kids Wi-Fi back on
-
Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
