Just lost my @bt_uk broadband - and they are saying it could be days before it’s repaired. I work from home. Disgraceful service. If I was days late with my payment they’d be all over me. If you’re with BT be warned. Apparently it’s due to us being in the ‘run up to Christmas’?

  • CllrHelenTaylor
Cllr Helen Taylor (@CllrHelenTaylor) reported from Maidenhead, England

@bt_uk No we were calling to cancel but had a billing issue first. Seeing as we were cut off we have no idea if the cancellation has been actioned or not?

floralclaire (@floralclaire) reported from Bracknell, England

@bt_uk please help my 80+ year old parents. Without phone or internet for 2 weeks since fibre works broke line. No one can/is fixing. They are desperate. Mobile only works in garden! Dunkirt Lane, Abbotts Ann. Please help!

  • epicreble

@btsport why do they show VAR in slow motion. The game isn't played that way. Then it always looks worse.

  • pinners888
Pinners (@pinners888) reported from Wokingham, England

@btsport what’s going on. Why can’t I watch PSG game yet have to listen to pundits banging on about the Chelsea performance. WTF!

  • CllrHelenTaylor
Cllr Helen Taylor (@CllrHelenTaylor) reported from Maidenhead, England

@bt_uk Thank you but sadly your information seems incorrect as I can categorically tell you it drops several times a day. My husband works from home so it is noticed each time and it always goes down in the evening.

  • peter33266430
peter (@peter33266430) reported from Slough, England

@bt_uk quite shocked by BT , I just rang to stop BT sport multi room ,in December, and then I rang yesterday to discuss my contact which was up in 26 feb this year , so without me know the customer advisor on extended my contract without my consent, don’t trust BT anymore

  • pumps1000
Ian Reynolds (@pumps1000) reported from Reading, England

@bt_uk The issue is that you charge customers for a service. A service which allows scammers access to your system. I would have been happy to give up the line for a token gesture. You try blocking 80 calls an hour!

  • floralclaire
floralclaire (@floralclaire) reported from Bracknell, England

@bt_uk My parents live in Abbotts Ann. They have been without phone and internet 2 WEEKS after roadworks. Who was responsible. Who can fix it? They are desperate now. @OpenreachHelp and @bt_uk haven’t fixed it. A disgrace!

  • keithcox74

Classic @bt_uk shocking customer service. Make an appointment that they don’t keep and dont send you any updates till you approach them.

  • peter33266430
peter (@peter33266430) reported from Slough, England

@bt_uk I don’t trust BT as, anymore, they are liars I rang BTto say if they could give a quote on sky products, but instead without my permission he extended my contract by 1 year,I rang to complain, but instead again without my permission he extended it by 2 yeas, how bad is that.

  • lesleyannandra
Lesley Cowcher (@lesleyannandra) reported from Woodley, England

@btsport would be good to have commentators support British teams instead no it’s Ajax all the way #ChampionsLeague

@PhelanHill @bt_uk @virginmedia If it works it's brilliant but if it doesn't @virginmedia 's Customer Service is woeful in my experience (and @GBRChris_A 's) Currently even with all the people working at home it is good @ 200 Mbps !

  • HenleyPhotos
    Henley-on-Thames (@HenleyPhotos) reported from Henley-on-Thames, England

@UglyBear_ @bt_uk @skytv @btsport @BBCNews @SkyNews All rubbish, if our gas and electric and water run on the same service there would be uproar as it supposed to be the fourth utility service!!

  • TheTomothy
Tom Hogan (@TheTomothy) reported from Basingstoke, England

@virginmedia better have a good explanation for this but likely this will never be answered and all my years of bills and loyalty mean absolutely sod all. @bt_uk and @SkyHelpTeam Any good deals on broadband? And can you promise you wont vandalise my home & connection randomly?

@bt_uk Hello! 👋 Apologies this may be a silly query, but I did the auto-fault reporting thing 2 days ago, and it kept alternating between saying it was ok and saying it wasn't, so I just want to check that the slow broadband connection actually did get reported properly? Thanks!

  • charl32647

There is no doubt that @bt_uk are one of the worst customer service companies in the UK if not the world. A total joke of a business.

  • Bubbler_Ranx
    Lou Skunt (@Bubbler_Ranx) reported

@bt_uk I've been on the fuckarse internet for 30 bludclart years. I don't need my ******* hand held. This **** is not important.

  • trevjrho
    trevor rhodes (@trevjrho) reported

@bt_uk Having a really poor experience with the switch to Digital Voice. Included being sent inaccurate information, wrong switch over date, I've now been unable to receive incoming calls for 3 days. Latest news 'should be resolved within a further 3 working days'. A thread 1/2

  • ClarkeDdmthe1st
shullup it worked out (@ClarkeDdmthe1st) reported

Shock @bt_uk has another outage after saying they fixed the issue… I need recommendations for another provider because this contract is getting terminated.

  • WASNAPPER
    Martin (@WASNAPPER) reported

@bt_uk At the third stroke I will have been sitting listening to your terrible music on hold for more time than is bearable. In the meantime my 85 year old mother is still without a useable landline, is 4 weeks acceptable to you?

  • JohnKaysCanoe
    Digger (@JohnKaysCanoe) reported

@bt_uk is there a reason why my broadband goes down at 02:15 every single night without fail?

  • gilesshaxted
    Giles Shaxted (@gilesshaxted) reported

@bt_uk I appreciate the response. After three phone calls from your loyalty team or whatever they called themselves. I ended up switching to sky. You should genuinely treat your loyal customers better than the new ones. It's not okay.

  • AnonEtc
    Rural Record (@AnonEtc) reported

@bt_uk We did, Ian in Stockport told us exit fees fluctuate constantly...despite giving him the exit date! It's this overt complication, plus language (see the previous pic, "see how switching will IMPACT you"), against the ethos of Ofcom, which is why BT will lose customers and fail.

    Amit (@Amit72191182463) reported

@btbusinesscare I have a BT business connection for the last 2years where my contract was ending on 6th August, 2026. I called to terminate the contract but I have been asked to pay until 16th August. Also, you charged a £18 disconnection fee. Why do I need to pay after contract?
