@J_Strudwick @Jamken22 @btsport I had the same problem - try to watch a different BT channel (I picked Rugby), then once logged in switch back to footie - all ok.

@btsport BT box office channel 494 won't let me buy the fight and says there's an issue with my broadband. Openreach engineer came out and says my internet is fine. I called bt back and they have no more answers. Is there a wider issue or am I just unlucky?

@bt_uk waited 2 weeks for new broadband connection engineer arrived Friday said he couldn’t do it and no more appointments until 10th may. Shocking service for a new customer.

And there we have it. 3rd @bt_uk engineer no show of the month. The fact that the first thing you hear when you phone them to complain is a pre recorded message of them saying "they pride themselves on their excellent customer service" is actually just comical now! #bt
