So after 12 years it's goodbye @bt_uk Automatic price rises within contract and ending free weekend calls make it Hello @zeninternet Speaking to BT Loyalty Dept just wound me up. "Price is £40, until it goes up in two weeks." And I'm not subsidizing their stupid Sport channel.

@BillSco747 @KeoghsLaw @bt_uk Hi Bill, I am really sorry to hear that damage has been caused to your property. Whilst this is never our intention, I understand accidents to happen. All of our damage claims are dealt with by Keoghs. We cannot see the status of a damage claim here. You can email them at (1/2)

@bt_uk 9 engineer visits, executive level complaint and no resolution and your solution is to close the complaint Why am I paying for a service I’m not receiving

@bt_uk Thanks for the advice but I am not wasting more time, trying to get hold of you. Part of my complaint is the amount of time wasted trying to sort your error out. The onus is on you to show some customer service and have the decency to contact me following my complaint.

I called @bt_uk to cancel a service we're not using. The "guide" put me on hold for ages, then the line went dead, followed by an automated SMS asking what I thought of the service. Not very good is the answer!

  • JSads1983
    James Sadler (@JSads1983) reported

@bt_uk Thank you, but these were engineers, who wanted to gain access to my home even though I hadn't approved a visit. When asked for ID, they became rude. They left and then attempted to come back later. Again, with no ID or any official looking job sheet.

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

@bt_uk Internet has been unavailable since yesterday morning, your tech bot is useless and now being told it’s a in-house problem even though it’s an area issue with everyone experiencing issues, been told engineers will be out Monday, there won’t be enough engineers mk

@bt_uk i had my bt email account hacked after putting my login details into a spurious email. I regained access to my email by changing the password but I don’t seem to receive emails and emails that say they have been sent don’t get received. How can I rectify this?
