-
Paul Worth (@paulworth) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@EE great work guys. Advertise an offer that closes at midnight tonight, then start a pre-planned maintenance outage at 2200. That’s quite a few sales scuppered I’ll wager.
-

Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@UKPowerNetworks short (7 minute) power outage experienced in CB245** @virginmedia service lost as well as @EE service too. I know the value of a UPS and while I recognise that residential broadband isn’t protected, I’m shocked that the EE mobile service was compromised.

in an austin butler state of mind ✨ (@jamiebutlers) reported from Huntingdon, England@EE Had issues with my data since the early hours of this morning but can somehow still text. I’ve had 5G but nothing was loading then kept getting an E symbol. Can only tweet now to ask as I’m using public Wi-Fi
-
Phil Huff (@FrontSeatPhil) reported from Brampton, England@packlam73 @O2 @EE That's not how that works (speaking as an ex-network guy who worked on building the EE née T-Mobile / Orange 4G network.) Also, EE were the only bidder ;-)
-
Kevin taylor (@kevtaylor14) reported from Saint Ives, England@EE Says it’s busy :( never mind. Already missed 5 goals. 💔

Scott Westron (@ScottWestron) reported from Cambridgeshire, EnglandI know I’ve said this before but I can’t say it enough. Every single interaction I have with @EE customer service is exemplary. I don’t know how they recruit or train but whatever their secret is, I wish every company would take a lead out of their book. 10/10 every time.
-
🦄 Erdem 🦄 (@rifaterdemsahin) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@EE Called the support and kept the same unlimited plan. As he mentioned without a change the plan would repeat

Jason #MUFC #GlazersOut ⚽️🔴🇺🇦 (@JasonMUFC85) reported from Cambridgeshire, EnglandShocking for @EE not to offer me a decent upgrade and I’m a loyal customer as well

-
Nigel Leaney (@nleaney) reported from Willingham, England@JoeBaguley What’s your 4G like when you lose power? Often when we have a powercut both the broadband and 4G signal dies too. I’m running a UPS but guess @virginmedia / @EE don’t protect their kit 🤔

-
WhyDoYouCare? (@BidSurreal) reported@gavmarten @EE @TomTugendhat True, but reliability is an issue.
-
iBRAR (@ibrar_dev) reported@EE @TomTugendhat Hang on didnt the tory govt run a massive anti waaaaah waaaaaay campaign or was it the Americans who moaned about it. They were offering to upgrade our networks and then magically spying accusations started appearing in the media.
-
MarkSpeaking 🔶#LibDem #CheshamAndAmersham (@markspeaking) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Things that never happened
-
Sarah Dixon (@SiDix67) reported@EE Been through all of this. I am then directed to the App, using my data because I have no Wifi. New router and still no connection. You use AI Bots and close down technical support at 8pm. Frustration is not a strong enough term. I will be picking this up again later today.

Greg - Israelite in Exile (surviving the Galut) (@anexiledjew) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE There's a really easy solution. I've seen this in other countries, and there's no reason it can't be implemented in the UK. Because these networks don't have the ability or will to properly cover the entire country, there's absolutely no reason we can't have domestic roaming in the same way we have international roaming. They wouldn't have to charge for it (although I'd pay if I had to) because every single mobile network would benefit from it. If you can't get an EE signal, for example, you would roam to Vodafone instead. It could be switched on instantly with no expensive engineering needed, but they choose not to do this.
-
DirtySecret (@RAGunner72) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom, Dulwich’s signal isn’t bad because O2 or EE don’t care, it’s because Southwark and local residents block or shrink almost every modern mast application. Operators want to fix it, but planning laws stop them. Until councils allow proper 20–25m masts, Dulwich will always have Kabul‑level reception.
-
Andy G Nothings 4 Free 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇪🇺🇨🇦 (@Sportywagon) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Lived in Dulwich for years Never had any reception issues #JogOn
-
Barbara Richardson (@Barbara25122320) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I’m in Dulwich too. Wasn’t it Boris and his cycling Czar who gave us cycle lanes and closed roads? What did your party do in government to improve mobile service?
-
Tom Tugendhat (@TomTugendhat) reportedI’m in Dulwich. One of the more expensive areas of London, supposedly a global city, and I’m getting worse mobile phone reception that I did in Kabul a decade ago. I pay for two contracts: @O2 and @EE and neither is reliable so I can’t work. Mobile phones are useless in vast areas of Britain and have got worse. You can never work on a train, unlike in France. But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings. This government is prioritising virtue signalling vanity projects when we need infrastructure urgently.

Freddie M 🇬🇧 (@Freddie1985039) reported@EE Im sure they're aware of the problem as I received an SMS from EE a week ago, saying that they knew people were having problems connecting to devices like doorbells and they were looking into it, but heard nothing since. I'll call them tomorrow
